The fairies of the sun and moon

Clarion and selena

All the fairies of every talent were seated when the two dandelion seeds softly landed in the middle of the tree .

When they did a dust keeper fairy flew out and poured the golden pixie dust onto the two fluffs . The seeds had a faint glow .

The first fairy sister picked her head up . " Hello ?" She asked, her sapphire eyes widening .

The second sister sat up and looked around with curiosity in her silver eyes .

queen jade and the ministers then flew in ." Welcome to pixie hollow , Clarion and Selena . " The queen greeted them .

Clarion stood up . She had wavy golden brown hair that beautifully framed her heart shaped face . She offered her hand to Selena . Selena took it and stood up .

She had long hair as black as night that fell down in waves

"Who are you?" Asked clarion . Jade smiled

"I'm queen jade , I see you made here all right ." she said .

"I suppose we did" clarion responded . Jade then turned to Selena who was hiding behind clarion .

"You don't talk much ,do you?" Jade teased the fairy . Selena considered this . She hasn't said a word since she arrived .

"Salutation ." Selena said , trying to prove she could talk just fine . Jade was amused , Selena certainly had quite the attitude .

"My , what a vast vocabulary you have." She said .the on looking fairies laughed .Selena smiled ,pleased to have made a point .

Clarion giggled as well. She had only known her sister for a few mere minutes , but already she adored her .

"Are we going to use our wings are what? I'm assuming we can fly since every one here has wings . " Selena demanded . Jade was once again dumbfounded by the small young fairy .

Clarion elbowed her sister , implying that she was being rude . Selena just shrugged her shoulders , while clarion Rolled her eyes .

" Well thank you for reminding me . I had almost forgotten . " Jade said she then stepped behind the sisters and applied pixie dust to their wings.

Both sisters stared in awe at the sight of their glistening wings. jade offered a hand to both sisters . Clarion and Selena grabbed her hands and beat their wings . They both gasped as they flew into the air .

They flew around in a circle before landing . Jade then stretched her hand out and a fairy ring of mushrooms appeared .

Then one fairy or sparrow man from every talent flew forth and placed an item on the mushrooms .

"What are those for ?" Asked clarion , gesturing at the talents .

"These will help find your talent ,you and your sister each have one . They determine where you belong  . " Jade answered .

Selena slipped her small pale hand into clarion's tan one as they flew over to a mushroom with a water droplet on it . The sisters reached over and touched it . It  fell with a sploosh .

Selena looked up and gazed at the moon it looked cool and welcoming . She continued to look at it as her and clarion walked around the fairy ring and tested every talent .

All the fairies grew silent when all the talents were gone and there stood two talentless sisters .

Jade stood there and had a mini panic attack .What if they didn't have talents . Surely they must . unless they were,

"night fairies !!!!" Nut meg screeched    " I knew it ! They're abominations . We must dispose of them immediately ." Nut meg said .

Tears then began to fill clarion's eyes as Selena stood there frozen in fear .

"Nut meg , only one of them is a night fairy .It's Selena she always looks up at the moon ." Jake said to the enraged fairy .

" Then dispose of her!" Nut meg said .

"No! She's my sister , i love her ! Why are you doing this ?" Clarion cried .

"Because night fairies are evil . You don't know her clarion . Get away from it ." Said The minister of autumn .

"Nutmeg ! Stop it , you're scaring the poor girl . Selena has the right to stay here . Under my law she is protected ." Jade said .

" Over my dead body!" Nutmeg scream as she lunged at seleena wielding a dagger .

Clarion screamed as Selena jumped out of the way . The blade came down onto her shoulder and cut it .

Luckily it wasn't deep but, it would leave a scar . Selena cried out in pain . She then looked over at nutmeg . She was enraged .

"You call me a monster!!' You're one to talk . I never did anything to you !" Selena exclaimed.

. " Not you ,but all night fairies !
My mother hated me. she attacked pixie hollow and then left me to die ! You're all the same . you , are a monster . "Nutmeg said .

"No I'm not !" Selena yelled back as nutmeg once again lunged at her .

This time Selena kicked the dagger out of her hand and punched her .

Clarion stood there in shock as nutmeg lay sprawled on the ground .

Two guards then ran forth and tied magical  binding vines onto her wrist and wings .

" This isn't over Selena. I'll kill you and all of your kind !!! Nutmeg screeched , blood dripping from her nose .

" Nutmeg , for trying to kill another fairy under my rule , I herby banish you from pixie hollow . You are never to return again ." Jade proclaimed .

Nutmeg's eyes were filled with hatred as she turned to clarion .

"Heed my warnings child .Selena is evil . Don't trust her, unless you wish to awaken with a knife In your back . " nutmeg said to clarion .

" and you , jade . You've just doomed us all. I always knew you were a cowardice fool ." The deranged fairy  said .

She then was escorted away , while she rambled on about how evil night fairies were and other such nonsense .

"I'm sorry for the damage she has made . Don't worry she is In safe hands and will no longer be a threat to pixie hollow . "

Jade said In an attempt to calm her subjects . It wasn't working though . Many of them were still In shock and angered .

" Are you alright ?" Jade asked Selena .

" Yes I am. thank you " Selena said meaning it .

Clarion then walked over to her sister . Nutmeg's words were still in her mind .

" Im so happy you're okay !" She exclaimed as she hugged her sister tight .

Selena hugged her back . Both sisters held onto each other for dear life .

Jade still had the issue of what to do . She was still running away , but she could still help them .

" Clarion , you and Selena need to go home and rest . You can figure out your talents tomorrow . Mary can you please show them to their house ?" Jade asked a tinker fairy .

"Well of course I can!" Mary replied in an accent .

She was short and had brown hair in a ponytail . She then began to talk to the two sisters constantly .

As jade started the flight to her room she looked up and made eye contact with crest .

He was The Lord of winter and the father of her child . He would never know about it though .

She was leaving every thing behind ,even her broken heart .
