The fairies of the sun and moon

Night faries

" sooooooo........ Where are we heading ?" Selena asked sparrow .

" to the hunting grounds . " he answered

" wow your so darn specific ." Selena said sarcastically . They had left the whole chaos behind and ventured toward the woods .

After they left they had stopped by sparrow's house to grab some bows ,arrows , and other hunting supplies .

Selena had also met sparrow's little sister nyx . She was about seven and very well, adventurous ? She kept on saying she was going to kill hawks and save pixie hollow . For a seven year old  she was pretty dedicated to her kingdom  . When she grew up she said she wanted to be a scout fairy .

" we're almost there Selena . It's just up ahead ." Sparrow told her . She flew a little faster . When she flew to the top of the hill she was able to see the hunting grounds . It was a small strip of land with very few trees it looked almost dead .

" sparrow are you sure this it ?" Selena asked and wrinkled her nose .

" yes . It isn't much . The land here is between pixie hollow and the dryad forest , that's the sprite kingdom . " he told her as they they climbed up a tree into a little knot hole . It was sparrow's own deer stand .

It was quite small so Selena  was right up against him . She didn't mind though . Sparrow was hot and she had a huge crush on him .

" what's a sprite? " she asked genuinely curious .

" the most horrible  things out there . They're all the same evil, conniving ,and selfish . They are  fairies without wings . Their empress ,chrysanthemum is always trying to invade pixie hollow . Rumor  has it she even killed her own husband . That's how she became empress ." Sparrow told her .

By now Selena was really interested it had never crossed her mind that there could  be other civilizations out there in never land .

" are there any other types of fairies ?  " she asked .

" yeah there's one more other kingdom , the dark hollow fairies . They're the same same as pixie hollow only well , dark . They have talents just like in ph , but theirs are corrupted and only used for evil . Like instead of a garden fairy making roses bloom , they instead create over growing thorns and thistles . Ph  fairies bring the seasons , while they create natural disasters and destruction ." He said

" why ? " she asked sparrow .

" because they hate us . Also Selena they're legends of another fairy kingdom that disappeared long ago . They were water fairies called aquilis ."

" were they like water talent fairies ?" Selena asked .

" No ,they were similar to mermaids ,and penguins ." He told her .

" really, penguins ?" Selena was really confused now .

" well , kind of . They had wings that were to heavy  to fly . instead they used them to glide under water like a penguin . They can also breath both water and air . "

" oh my gosh that's so cool ! I can't believe it . What happened to them ."

" there was a fairy war and they were all wiped out . This happened during the rule of queen Skye . She was the fifth queen ." He said

Selena was about to ask once again another question when they heard a rustle In a near by bush sparrow raised his bow and pulled a arrow from his sheath .

While his arrow was ready to fire a rabbit hopped  out of the bush . Selena watched as sparrow released his arrow and it flew and impaled the rabbit in the side . It fell over and blood began to pour out on to  the grass .
