Winter woods

Clarion loved pixie hollow . Every thing about it seemed like it was all a dream, and she was honestly afraid that she would wake up and everything would be gone .

She still had trouble comprehending that this was all real . It still seemed strange to her that she had just began living . It felt like she had been alive for forever . Yet there were no memories . She knew what things were , but she didn't .

Unlike a human ,she was born knowing how to walk and talk . It just seemed so , unbelievable .
As she thought this a stray snowflake drifted by her face . As it did her eyes lit up . She turned around and gasped . She stood face to face with the winter woods .

She was still on the spring side but winter was less than a couple inches away . She looked over at Mary to see if she watching . The tinker wasn't , she was still talking about the baskets she had to weave earlier this  week .

Clarion then hesitantly reached her arm over . The cold wind tickled half her arm. She then took a deep breath , closed her eyes and walked over to winter .

When she did she was entirely enveloped in coldness . She began to shiver,  so she Wrapped her arms around herself . Even though the cold was a bit harsh she liked it . It was different and beautiful .

As she walked around a little she loved it even more . The way the snow reflected the moon's light was enchanting . She smiled to her self Selena would love it here.

She then heard a loud " HOO!" . She jumped and turned around .
Behind her stood a tall perplexed owl . It's silver eyes shone with intelligence . As the owl lifted it's wings to take off clarion noticed that it had strange unusual markings around it's eyes .

  "Wait ! Please don't go . " she cried after it as it flew away . She sighed loudly . As she turned around to go back to spring she realized she was lost .

" Great , this is just wonderful ! Now I'm lost !" She screamed out in frustration . As soon as she did she heard a crack and a loud thump . She turned around to see what it was .

  Behind her , laying on the ground was a sparrow man who had fallen out of a tree . Clarion then proceeded to pick up a large stick and hit him on the head with it . It was the only thing she could think of at the moment .

   " Owww !!! What the heck is wrong with you !" He yelled at clarion . The sparrow man covered the forming bump on his head with his hand .
  "What's  wrong me?! What's wrong with you ?!! You  were stalking me . " she responded .

  " No,I wasn't , I was following an owl ." He said . He then looked up at clarion . His white hair fell into his deep brown eyes . Clarion then felt her self begin to blush . He was rather handsome .

  "I'm sorry . I , just kind of freaked out a little ." She apologised .

   " A little ?" He said sarcastically with a smirk .

" Okay  . Maybe a lot . I'm new  . I actually just got here about an hour or two ago . My name's clarion . " she said .

  "Milori . Oh gosh you're a warm fairy ! We need to back over the border before your wings freeze !!!" Milori said as he took her hand in his and started running .

  Clarion couldn't help but blush bright red as he held her hand . His hand was freezing , but it still made her feel warm and tingly . She also had an immense crush on him . He seemed so nice , awkward , strong , handsome , and smart . She really hoped that they'd be able to meet again .

     When they got close to spring clarion saw Mary flying around frantically , calling her name . Clarion called to her and the fairy looked relived . "What are  thinking !" Mary cried out .

  Clarion felt Milori  let go of her hand . When he did she felt a little empty . She ignored the feeling and ran to Mary . As  she ran across the border she instantly felt warmer . Not to mention Mary hugging her also helped her warm up .

   " I'm so happy you're alright . I was worried you done froze your wings off ." Mary said

" Don't worry my wings are fine . Milori came to my rescue . " clarion said to Mary .

Milori gave an awkward smile . "Well ,I'm more than happy to help . I should really get going now though . Or my dad ,Crest will skin me alive . It was really nice seeing you again Mary , and nice meeting you clarion . bye ." He said as he flew in to the snowing woods .

"You guys know each other? " clarion asked as they flew off towards her new house . Mary nodded

" Yeah , I go to school with him . Which reminds me you need to register . We'll go get you registered tomorrow . Selena too !" Mary said enthusiastically .

Clarion was only half listening though . She just couldn't get milori out of her head . His big brown eyes were stained into her mind . She couldn't help herself but wish he was here so she could hold his hand . She then vowed to herself that she had to see him again soon .

When they reached the house clarion had to persuade Mary to leave . She adored Mary , but the tinker did have a tendency to constantly talk A LOT.

After she left clarion changed into a simple blue dress she found in her closet and made some steaming hot tea . She then sat on the porch and waited for Selena . About ten minutes later clarion spotted her with a handsome sparrow man with dark hair .

" Hello !!! Sister of mine . This is my new new best friend sparrow !!! " Selena said

Clarion spit her tea out in shock . "The sparrow ?! Nutmegs offspring ?!! " clarion screamed out in shock .

" Yes ? But it's okay he hates his mom . So he's my new bestie !!! " Selena said . Clarion just rolled her eyes at Selena .

After sparrow had left the sisters were all alone in the living room in their pajamas . Selena had a mouthful of cherry pie as clarion told her about her encounter with milori . Selena smiled wryly

"Awwwww , you like him ." Selena said , pie smeared all over her face .Selena would end up making fun of clarion about this forever .

" No I don't ! I just think he's really sweet . " clarion said defending her self . Selena just smirked and rolled over on the couch to sleep . Within minutes Selena was snoring like a freight train .

Clarion smiled at her sleeping sister . All of of this was still very new to her and she was relived she didn't have to face it alone . Selena did seem a little crazy, stubborn  and out spoken , but she was also, brave , loyal , smart , kind and selfless .

Clarion then turned over to face the window . She watched pink flowers gracefully fall from the tree out back . She pretended they were snowflakes . As her Sapphire eyes closed shut she thought about what tomorrow would bring .
