Inko always worried about her son. It was in her nature as a mother. Her son was the most important thing to her and she loved him to death. Everytime he got hurt, it would hurt her deep down inside. So when he decided to leave her and UA behind to protect them, she protested. She saw what was happening with the Heros around Japan, but he insisted he would return to her.

The first time she called him he still sounded hopeful and determined, but after that things took a turn for the worse. His voice got colder with every call until he sounded emotionless. It broke her heart hearing her baby boy sound like that.

Soon he stopped responding to her calls. She feared her son had died, but Toshinori had kept her calm. He told her that Izuku was just incredibly busy and didn't have the time to talk to her. She believed at the time, but she started to grow suspicious when he started sounding worried.

She almost broke down when he told her that Izuku had almost been killed by an assassin, but the man insisted that her son wasn't hurt too badly and was perfectly fine.

That was over a day ago.

She'd tried calling the man watching over her son, but he wasn't picking up his phone, all her calls going to voicemail. She was starting to get worried.

She tried calling again, but was interrupted when someone knocked at her door. Toshinori had told her that UA was starting to house civilians who had lost their homes and for those who needed protection. She hadn't gone yet, a small part of her hoping Izuku would return home to her, even if it was only to say hello.

She walked over to the door and opened it, hoping to see Izuku, but instead she saw Toshinori looking at her with a sad gaze "All Might! Come in, please" She said, turning around and walking further into the apartment. Toshinori followed her into the living room, where she sat down "How has Izuku been? You haven't been answering any of my calls."

Toshinori stayed silent and looked towards the ground. His fists clenched angrily and his body was tense. Inko sensed his unease and panic began to flood her mind "Where's Izuku?" She asked, fear starting to fill her veins.

Toshinori didn't answer, instead he kept his eyes glued to the floor. Inko's eyes widened and she shook her head "S-Stop messing around. T-This isn't f-funny" She demanded. When Toshinori didn't answer her eyes widened "You-You promised you'd watch over him with your life." Inko whispered, her mind starting to realize what was happening "You promised!" She said again louder. Her voice began to crack as tears began to slowly slide down her cheek.

She could feel her Quirk respond to her feelings, but she paid no attention to that. Instead focusing on the retired Hero who didn't protect her son "Get out" She whispered.

Toshinori stepped forward, but paused when he saw various small objects around the room begin to violently shake. "Mrs. Midoriya. I can't express how sorry I am. This is all my fault-"

"GET OUT! Inko wailed. All the small objects in the room launched at Toshinori at incredibly high speeds. He stood there and took every hit with his eyes closed. When he felt the onslaught stop, he opened his eyes to find Inko on the ground in a fetal position, tucking her head into her chest. "Get out!" She sobbed quietly.

Toshinori wanted to tell her that he felt Izuku was still alive, but he didn't have any proof other than a gut feeling. "I'm sorry" He whispered before leaving the apartment.

Inko sat there crying her heart out. She didn't stop him when he wanted to go back to UA. She didn't stop him when he decided to leave her and his friends behind. She didn't do enough to keep him safe. Her baby boy was dead.

And it was all her fault

Weiss rolled over with a small groan. She didn't want to get out of bed. It was cold, but her bed was so warm and cozy. If it was a weekend, she would've slept in and enjoyed every moment of her sleep. Unfortunately, it was a Tuesday, meaning she had classes today. With a louder groan, she opened her eyes and saw a peculiar sight.
