Team RWBY all stared down at the drawing of Izuku's outfit. Weiss was impressed at how detailed it was. Blake admired the drawing for how the outfit looked, it was definitely an improvement over his weird and disturbing costume he wore when engaging students or Grimm in combat. Like Blake, Yang loved the costume, but unlike her teammate, she was going to miss being able to call him Demon boy. And Ruby was staring at the weapons excitedly, her mind racing with possibilities.
"Wow" Was all Weiss could mutter, staring at the drawing
"This is impressive" Blake agreed
"Wait, does anyone know where Izuku is right now?!" Ruby asked, her eyes darting to the door, praying that Izuku doesn't enter while they have the drawing out
"Izuku's at the gym, he won't be back for a while." Yang reassured her sister.
Ruby nodded her head before examining the drawing for the umpteenth time, and every time she looked at it she was impressed
It was well drawn and offered reasoning behind his choices. The gloves are basically the same as the ones he had now, but slightly upgraded to be able to use Dust. His boots were the same, except they didn't look like talons anymore. Instead looking like normal high tops coated in iron. The mechanics were impressive, a blowback motion to enhance the kicks and decrease the recoil.
The outfit was a whole different story. It no longer looked like some kind of monster. Heck, it no longer even looked like his costume. The respirator was still there, but that was probably the only thing apart from his gloves and boots he kept. It looked amazing. Ruby couldn't help but feel a small flutter in her chest every time she looked at the hooded cloak he added in. 'It looks like mine' She thought.
Overall, it was a major improvement, and could definitely be made in around a week, but before they started on it, they needed to talk.
"Okay, there are a few things that might need to be changed," Yang said, looking over the weapons.
"I know a few good changes to make." Ruby agreed "He needs a lethal weapon. He might be able to knock out Grimm easily, but that doesn't mean he won't come across something stronger"
Weiss bit her tongue as Blake shook her head "I thought Izuku didn't kill?" She questioned.
"He doesn't kill because he was taught it was wrong in his world" Weiss recalled her conversation with Izuku, not mentioning why Izuku wouldn't need a lethal weapon "He told me that if there was no other option, he would resort to ending a life"
Ruby nodded "Well if Izuku does decide that killing is the best option, he'll need something lethal just in case." Ruby added "But what weapon would be good for him?" She muttered under her breath "A sword, maybe?"
"A sword might not be good for Izuku. He has no training with one" Blake pointed out "And if he's leaving soon, then he won't get enough training to properly use one. Not to mention, it doesn't fit his fighting style."
The other girls nodded, understanding where Blake was coming from. A sword required training and took time to learn how to properly utilize one. But Yang didn't abandon the thought like the other girls did. Maybe there was a way to combine the two aspects. Make something that wouldn't be too hard for Izuku to learn. Something that would attach to his gloves and could be used to kill if necessary. Something like a...
Yang snapped her fingers with a grin "I have an idea of what could be used as a lethal weapon!" She announced to her teammates "It wouldn't stray too far from his fighting style. It might take some time for Izuku to learn, but it should be easier to learn."
"What is it?" Blake asked, curious as to what Yang was talking about
"I'll keep that a secret between Ruby and I for now" Yang smirked.
