Chapter 9

  When I first saw you, I was afraid to meet you.

  Parker's POV
 
  As I woke up the next day, from my father banging on the door, telling me to get up.
 
  "Parker get your ass up, you don't want to miss your flight." He had yelled.
  "Ugh! I'm up." I yelled back.
 
  I got out of bed and went into my bathroom to take a shower. I wasn't in long but once I was out, I hurried up dried off and got dressed. When I looked in the mirror to make sure I looked sharp, I was ready to go. Sometimes I feel like a girl when I'm trying to look good for these fucking alpha meeting. Wish I wasn't the alpha half the time but it had to be me because the twins wouldn't be able to do shit. They still play around, even though they are in charge of the guards.
  I grabbed my bag and phone then went downstairs. My beta and delta was already sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast.
 
  "Morning alpha." Jeremiah had said. He was my beta and best friend since we were kids.
  "Morning boys. So Anthony you ready for this meeting?" I said laughing a little.
  "Wait what?" He said spitting out his food.
  "Umm, your going with me."
  "I thought Jeremiah was going with you?" He had whined.
 
  Jeremiah and I started busting out laughing. The look on his face was priceless.
 
  "He is, your staying. I had to get you."
  "Fuck you, Parker. I went with you last year. I ain't going again."
  "Of course, only reason you went last year was because I was sick you Dumbo." Jeremiah said laughing. "Anyways, I'm all packed up and ready. We're just waiting for Peter and Gavin right?"
  "Yep. They should be here in just a few. They said they would be here by 8am." I said then I heard the front door open then shut.
  "Parker, you ready!" Peter yelled out.
  "Yep, we're coming!" I yelled back. "Anthony, your in charge. Check in with my sister and them tonight. Make sure its all good."
  "Yes, alpha." He said.
 
  As me and Jeremiah grabbed our bags and headed outside to the car. Peter and Gavin were leaning against the porch while their beta's were putting their bags into my car.
 
  "Joe, be careful Grandpa kill us if his car gets scratch." Peter yelling at his beta.
  "Yes, alpha." Joe said.
  "Hey, where's your beta, Gavin?" I had asked.
  "Damon's coming. He went inside to use the bathroom. He doesn't like flying." Gavin told me.
 
  Once Damon came out, we were ready to leave. As they all got into my car we headed to the airport and flew to France. It took about 11 hours to get there an once we did, we got a hotel and rested for awhile until dinner time.
  By the time it was dinner time, we all went downstairs to eat at the buffet in the hotel. We wasn't in there long we had to get some sleep for tomorrow for the alpha meeting/ball which I hate them. Usually our Luna's go with us but I don't have one and Gavin and my niece isn't fully mated and Peter's Luna she went to visit family so she couldn't go.
  As we were eating our food, having a few drinks, and some good laughs. Peter brought up about me finding my mate here which was hardly.
 
  "Well what if you do find her here?" Gavin asked.
  "I hardly doubt it. Most of the women here are either taken or work for the alpha's." I had said. "So don't push your luck there."
 
  The boys laughed a little at me but I wasn't trying to push my luck. I've been Mateless for my whole life and I was hoping to have one when I was Liv's age at 15 but nothing came my way. I thought it was because I tried to hard to become the alpha of the pack. Taking over my father's pride was my dream, I was like I couldn't wait to become alpha and now, well it sucks. Expressly with no Luna.
  Liv got it easy. She was 15 and found her mate at our own house. By the time she was 16/17 she had her first baby; Peter, alpha of their pack now, and by the time she was 18 years old she had her second baby; Zara, Luna of their pack as well. She even adopted a 13 year old at the age of 16 years old after saving her life. She's been through a lot and not even trying half the time.
  Peter found his mate about a year ago and I believe she's even human. I remember the day he called my father and told us about it. Like he was so excited. My father was a little hurt that she was human, he was hoping that she was a she-wolf that was already a Luna, an alpha daughter, but no. But my sister told our father, as long as he's happy she don't care who she is as long as she treats Peter with respect and is great to him. When she found out what he was, she was impressed with it. She said she always knew there was a different world out there that no one really knew what was going on.
  Then now my sweet kind niece, Zara. She had a lot on her shoulders. She took over the school at she 2nd year in high school and everyone had looked up to her. Yea, she may had have to be mean to some of those who liked to fuck up and start shit but as Luna, you don't take shit from others and basically your the alpha dog of the pack just a girl version. She always said she didn't want to find her mate til she had finished with school well that kinda backed fired on her.
  Gavin had came into her life and I actually like him. I was happy for her and they are waiting til they graduated high school unlike some people.
  *cough cough* Olivia.
  She's grew up a lot since she was 13 years old but that's one thing I want when I find my Luna is to give me pups and have a daughter just like her. A strong head on her shoulders, a good heart, and knows how to lead.
  So that leads to it that I have been looking for my mate for 17 years and 35 years old. I'm getting old now.
  Then I look at it this way, I could do what Scarlet and Michael done. They not even mates and they are together. Same thing what Liv did with Sam. But I feel like that's cheating on your soulmate though even though your not but still.
  After dinner we had gone back up to our room and called it a night. We all went to bed until about 9 am when we got a wake up call for us to get up. I wasn't ready for this but I had to do it.
  We each took a shower, ate breakfast, and got dressed for the meeting/ball.
  I wore a nice black suit with a red tie. And I'm the one that don't like suits. I rather just do it in jeans and a T-shirt but you have to look nice for a ball. When I was ready, Peter came out in a tan suit with a black tie. He actually looked dashing. And Gavin a grey suit with a blue tie. Our beta's were all in black suits and black ties and they looked good as well.
  As we made our way down to the meeting area/ball, we saw a lot of alpha's and Luna's there. Some of the Luna's look hella hot and by oh god, I started to smell a strange smell. It smelled so good my mouth was getting all watery, my heart was beating so fast I thought it was gonna come out of my chest.
  I tried to ignore it for the night but it was bothering me. My wolf was going crazy in my head but I ignored him as well. As we sat down, some of the woman looked our way staring at us. Gavin had a few come to him and rub all over him but he had pushed them away.
 
  "Ladies, I'm a taken Alpha." He tell them.
  "She's at home, taking care of the lands. She didn't want to come, right now." He tried to make an excuse but I don't think they bought it.
 
  Peter was loving all the attention but he couldn't do anything about it. He was like Gavin, telling them he was taken as well but when you come to one of these without your mate its just over. The ladies are all over you. Even with me. I loved it until I saw her. She had looked my way and I had sat up from laughing with the guys. When she walked up the stairs to the ball, she had the most beautiful red dress with a split from midway down to ground. The sleeves were on her arms and the top of her dress was making her boobs pop up making them look perfect. She had black heels making her dress look perfect even with the jewelry she had on and her black make-up on. She was 100% perfect.
  She had to be at least 5'5", about 125 pounds, long brown hair, about half way down her back, and the most gorgeous green eyes you can ever lay your eyes on.
  When the boys noticed that I sat up straight and stopped laughing, they all turned around and faced the woman as well. When they saw she was looking my way, Jeremiah had hit my arm knocking me out of a trans that I felt like she had on me.
  I looked at the boys for a moment then got up from my table and walked over to her. I didn't care if anyone was looking our way. I went for it.
  As I was walking to her, she fixed her hair behind her ear and smiled at me. But when I got to her, I grabbed her hand and kissed it.
 
  "Hello, my gorgeous mate." I said.
  "Why hello, Alpha." She says with an adorable accent.
  "How did you know, I was an Alpha?" I asked her.
  "The way you walk, the way your dressed, the way your built," she says as she rubs my whole arm. "And of course your smell. And why else would you be here?" She says.
  "Okay, I'll give you that. By I could have been a beta or a delta."
  "But your not my alpha."
  I nodded at her and smiled. "Your very smart mate. What's your name?" I asked her.
  "Zobrina, from the Alaska Claw pack." She tells me. "You?"
  "Parker, from the Crescent pack or the Blue Crescent Moon Pack." I tell her. "Were from the northern part of Mississippi, close to the Mississippi river."
  "Why the two pack names?" She asked me.
  "Well the Crescent pack was our original pack name until my sister joined her mates pack Blood Moon pack and her daughter is about to join her mates pack Blue Bloods pack soon after they finish high school. So since were all family and we all live close to each other on our lands we had put all our names together." I told her.
 
  After I told her that, a man had came up walking up the stairs and stopped right behind Zobrina and looked at me. Of course I looked at him back started to grind my teeth.
 
  "Did I just hear you say, Blue Crescent Moon pack?" He had asked me. "The 3 packs into 1 pack?"
  "Yes, I did. My pack, my sister's pack, and her daughter's pack." I said.
  "Alpha Parker, this is my twin brother, Zoander." Zobrina said.
  "Soon to be Alpha, once our father passes it down to me." Zoander said.
  "Ah, my son don't be to modest. You'll get it once I know I can scene your ready for it." An older man had said, patting an older woman's hand. "Twins, why don't you introduced me to your friend."
  "Yes, father." Zobrina said. "This would be Alpha Parker from the Blue Crescent Moon pack, my mate."
  "My dear, did you just say your mate?" The woman asked.
  "Yes, mother. We just found each other." She told her mother.
  "And father their the 3 packs into 1 pack." Zolander said.
  "Oh really?"
  "Yes, sir. My older two alpha's are over there." I said pointing at them. "Why don't we join them."
  "Yes, let's." The man agreed.
 
  As we walked over to Gavin and Peter to join them, our beta's got up and let our company sit down while our beta's stood behind each one of us.
 
  "As y'all know me as Alpha Parker, this is my beta Jeremiah, of the Crescent pack. This is my nephew, Alpha Peter and his beta Joe, of the Blood Moon Pack. And my niece's mate, Alpha Gavin and his beta Damon, of the Blue Bloods pack." I said as I pointed to each one of them.
 
  They each nodded their heads at the Alaska Claw pack and they done the same to us.
 
  "Well I'm Alpha Zander and this is my wife/Luna Sabrina and our twins; Zobrina and Zoander." Zander said introducing them to us. Then a man had ran up to them handed Zander a file. "Ah thank you. And this would be my beta and best friend since I was a baby, Santiago."
 
  Santiago bowed his head and stood behind his alpha just like ours.
 
  "Uncle Parker are you gonna tell us who this lovely lady here is to you?" Peter asked me.
  "Peter this would finally be my mate. And I guess you two were right." I told them.
  "See we told you, you would find her soon and look out of all the places you find her here." Gavin told me.
  "Shut it, don't make me call my niece and have her put you in your place." I told him.
  "Please, I can handle her. She doesn't scare me." Gavin said.
  "Not even though the moon goddess gave her all those special things." Peter said.
  "Nope." Gavin said at first.
  "Really, she scares me. Expressly when you piss her off." Peter said.
 
  We all laughed at him. Even my own mate's family.
 
  "What did the moon goddess give your niece?" My mate asked me.
  "Well about a few months ago or so, her and Gavin were at their prom when they got attacked by rogues and well she died." I had said looking down at my hands.
  "But the moon goddess brought her back to live and she had gave her some powers kinda." Gavin said.
  "Like what?" Zander asked.
  "Well the speed of a cheetah, strength of gorilla, and regenerate of a phoenix." I told them.
  "Is she okay?" Sabrina asked us.
  "She has her moments." Gavin told them but I can handle her."
  "Just don't piss her off." Peter added.
