After I had stood up to do some cleaning Andrew had left and it was just me and Eric. Eric helped around here and there but most of the time he was seated in the living room.

I let out a soft sigh as I came to sit next to Eric and crossed my legs. "What time is it?" I asked Eric and he turned his phone to me to see the time.

"You look tired" Eric said to me as he put his phone in his pocket.

"I am" I said as I let out another sigh "this is the most I've exercised"

"You didn't exercise" he said to me with a deadpan

"Uhh yeah I did, sweeping and moving around beds isn't an easy job" I said to him and rolled my eyes "like that's an exercise for me"

"Oh brother, Daisy do you know how to swim?" Eric asked me

"Yeah I do but I prefer not to swim* I answered him

"Do you run?"

"No"

"Jog?"

"No"

"Take walks?"

"Nope"

"Canoe?"

"I don't even know how to do that"

"Then what can you do?"

"I can breathe and walk and shit." I said to him as I pouted my lips.

Eric threw his hands up as he let out a defeated sigh and crossed his arms over his chest and put a finger on his chin "hmm...first thing we get a break we are going mountain hiking"

"Mountain hiking? On second thought I have difficulty with walking and don't get me started on my breathing " I said to him as I shook my head

"Come on Daisy" Eric said as he looked at me and held my hand in his "it'll be fun for the both of us and educational"

"What can I learn from nature?" I asked Eric

"You can learn about animals, nature, appreciate the world around you. If you come I'll show you one of my nature drawings " he said to me with a smirk

"Fine then, I'll come... hopefully "I said as I smiled towards Eric. Just as Eric was about to say something we heard a horn outside and knew the kids have arrived. We got up to our feet and went to the door and opened it up and stood outside with fake smiles while we watched the bus unload.

"Honeycomb campers meet your honeycomb counselors" a male said as he introduced us to the kids. We got the age group of 7 and 8 year olds.

"Oh great, we got the snotty age group" Eric muttered under his breath and I nudged his rib cage and walked forward to the kids with a smile

"Hello campers! I'm Daisy and behind me is the basketball star Eric" I said to them with an obnoxious smile "are you guys excited?"

"Not really, I heard there are bears around here" one of the kids said.

"Bears? Pfft there are no bears here" Eric said from behind me "if there were bears I doubt most of the counselors would still be here"

"I heard the camp grounds are haunted " another kid said.

"Well there are no such things as haunted camp grounds, those are just made up stories by some kids who don't want to go camping" I said while I rolled my eyes

"Uhm Daisy" a small girl said as she walked up to me "can you show me where the bathroom is? I need to pee"

"Oh sure" I said and looked towards Eric "watch the kids, I'll be back" I said and took the girls hand and walked her to the bathroom.
