Corvina stormed to her father to inform him on the identity of the creature, whose name was written not once but twice. That could only mean one thing.
"You're saying it might have reincarnated?" the devil looked at his daughter in disbelief as if she was crazy, then he turned around to face the book, that was now open on the desk. He read the words written there over and over again, just to make sure, "This is impossible."
"Yes, i know."Corvina exclaimed frustrated."The worst part is that it thinks it can release itself from my grasp and you know more than anyone else how i hate when someone tries to underestimate me." Corvina's voice had taken a dark tone.
"I'll sent one of the soul theives, to capture it." he said turning away to leave. But before he could walk away from her Corvina grabbed his arm, causing him to stop.
"I want to go and kill it myself." The devil gave her a hard look, then sighed deeply. She was almost an adult and he wasn't about to tell her no. So he agreed with her.
"Alright." he said" I know that your stubborn so I'm not even going to try." She beamed a smile at him , and the Devil gave her a gentle smile back. "But the moment you kill it, you turn back, you understand?" he asked her with serious and concern tones in his voice.
The bell rang in Beacon Hills', high school signaling the end of the third period. The halls were filled with the students' voices, slammings of lockers, teachers yelling at them. Just a normal day in this city's high school.
And it seemed like a perfect time for Corvina to go after what she wanted.
She walked through the hallways, dodging kids who were too busy to even look at her. Her long black hair swayed gracefully from side to side as she moved.
As she walked up the stairs and up to the second floor, that's when she started getting stares. The hall became quiet as people were only whispering and staring at the new girl, who was the center of attention. A whistle was heard, making Corvina snap her head to that direction.
'Ew. Hmm. Greenberg. Filthy.' she thought as she flashed a fake smile and continued walking.
She passed two guys who were looking at her like she just killed someone. She has done that so they werent wrong. A boy with a flannel and grown out hair and a boy with an uneven jawline.
She was so focused on them that she didn't notice that she bumped into two girls."Oh my, i am so sorry." Corvina apologises as she scans the girls. They were so stunning.
'Allison and Lydia.' she found their names.
"It's okay, really." Lydia smiled politely at Corvina. "Are you new here?" Allsion asks the girl " I am." she smiles at the two girls but Lydia interrupts her "I have a feeling we will be best friends." "Haha we'll see about that." Corvina replied. But the way her eyes twinkled in delight showed that she knew she would make a good friend.
Her smile fell after she saw Greenberg approaching them both, looking very annoyed. She hated him already. "What is it?" Lydia said coldly while glaring at Greenberg. He ignored the girl's question, instead talking to Corvina:" Hey, do you want to go out?" He says, with a smirk.
Corvina walked towards him in a flirty way and she could hear his heart beating so fast it could fly out of his body. This should be interesting. Greenberg always loved to take advantage of the weak. She just hopes that whatever stupid idea he came up with will never work.
"Sure." Corvina answers in a soft voice, trying her hardest not to glare at the other two girls standing behind Greenberg. "But only if you want to see you eyeball rolling on the ground and see your gutted stomach on you bed." She adds, making him sweat.
Lydia and Allison are both smiling at her, they seem impressed even though they heard nothing. Greenberg stumbles backwards in shock and terror earning a laugh from Corvina.
"W-what are you?! You monster." he sttuters, words not fully coming out of his mouth. She could feel him shaking like mad.
Corvina smirked evilly at the scared little shit that was in front of her "You're still here?" The girl sent one dagger look to him and he was running.
