I walked into Alessandro's apartment feeling horrible, i just wanted to curl myself on the bed and cry.

"Do you mind telling me what happened?" He asked settling my bag on the floor "nothing much" he sighs before heading to what i guess was the kitchen because he came out a minute later holding a glass of water and handed it to me.

"Upstairs left room, use that" i faked a smile at him before walking to my new room. I flopped myself on the bed trying to so hard not to lose my mind.

"My fiancee wouldn't like it"

He had someone else all this time, i was just a pit stop. He hadn't made up his mind i guess, i sighed heavily, I'm just so fucking unlucky.

Mom.....I'm sorry.

I take off my clothes and just remain in my bra and panties, someone knocks at the door catching me off guard, i walk to it and slowly open.

It's Alessandro.

"Hi" he greets, he doesn't wait for my response he jus shoves me a plate of fruits "eat this for now" then he turns around and walks away.

I put the plate on the bed and take out my phone to check if there's anything important, i find a missed call from Rivers.

What does he want?

I decide to call him back so he doesn't find a reason to get on my fucking nerves later.

"My dearest......"
"What do you want?"
"That's not how you speak to me"
"I'm gonna hang up"

He can be so annoying at times always wanting his way which i apparently never give in to, he wants to play tough, bring it.

"Your house is done"
"When can I move in?".
"Even tomorrow, I'll send you the location"
"Okay"
"My baby good......"

I hang up the phone and put it on DND, then i just sit there eating the fruits Alessandro brought.

I wasn't in my right mind, i couldn't even think straight, i wanted to call Ava so she could try to comfort me but what would i say?

Hey Ava your brother was fucking me but it turns out that he was engaged, so he basically used me.

I couldn't say that I'd look stupid but does his fiancee know that he's been cheating on her with me?

As a woman i feel extremely bad for it, I'd never provoke him if had known that he was engaged.

I sigh, I'm still as pathetic as ever i guess. Suddenly a gush of wind passes me and i hold myself due the coldness, where'd it even come from?

"Sulking i see" that voice.

I turn to the window and Val's sitting there,a cigarette clutched between her fingers "what are you doing here, how'd you even know I'd be here?" She chuckles "lucky guess"

Lucky guess, my ass.

"Why you down?" I look at the floor, how do I even begin to tell her "did kallan do something?" Gosh, why is she like this.

"Yes"

She groans "what'd the fucker do?" If i tell val there's a possibility of her going after him, she may be cold but Val is a really good person.

"We got into an argument but I'm good" she hums taking a puff of her cig before turning to me "you're lying but okay"

I mentally smile "why are you in Monaco?" I ask her because the last time I saw her was at the Maldives airport after the vacation, is she here for fun?

I look at her up and down, yeah she's not here for fun that black attire and hidden daggers are enough to prove it.

"The minister of finance is acting up again" i nod, i don't really want to ask further knowing Val, it's jus best not to ask.

"Well i gotta go" she says getting up from the window seat "don't cry over men" she adds before jumping off from the damn window, i didn't dare go check if she's okay or not.

I smile to myself before getting back to bed and trying to find sleep, i feel my tears teasing to start falling again, i wipe them with my hand.
