Warnings: Skipped meals/food wasting

Bakugou busied himself in the kitchen, preparing food for breakfast, his thoughts consumed by a fiery rage towards Endeavor, I mean of course it was Endeavor Bakugou assumed. No, what if he was getting into fights after school or being bullied?... Bakugou though. Midoriya's incessant muttering only served to fuel his frustration. The thought of Endeavor, an abusive father, as the number one hero, ignited a burning desire within Bakugou to protect Shouto.

Just as he finished cooking, Kirishima approached, greeting Bakugou with his usual exuberance. "Hey!! Bakubro!" he exclaimed, his excitement evident. "You know what's up with Todobro?"

Bakugou's response was curt and dismissive. "That's none of your or my business, Shittyhair," he retorted, handing Kirishima his breakfast.

Grateful yet sheepish, Kirishima put his hand to the back of his head, and gave Bakugou a toothy grin Bakugou's protective nature remained unwavering.

Suddenly, Shouto descended the stairs, his appearance reflecting the toll sleepless nights had taken on him. Bakugou's gaze locked onto him, the intensity of his stare betraying the depth of his worry. Pinky, never one to mince words, pointed out Shouto's exhaustion without hesitation."Did you even sleep at all Todoroki?! " Mina gasped dramatically "Those eyebags are covering your beautiful face!" Mina unnecessarily added. "Shut up raccoon eyes".

Bakugou reached out, handing Shouto his breakfast, their eyes locked in a silent exchange. The weight of unspoken bakugou's concern weighed heavily in the air as Shouto accepted the food and walked away.

Shouto started walking to class..

Shouto stared at the untouched breakfast before him,a sandwich wrapped in plastic wrap. a wave of guilt washing over him for wasting the food. Deep down, he knew he was starving, but a voice inside him whispered that he didn't deserve nourishment. With a heavy heart, he discarded the meal in a nearby bin in the hall, his hunger left unsatisfied.

Just as he disposed of the food, a text from his father flashed across his phone screen, demanding his presence at home after school. Shouto's wounds from his father were healing, but one deep cut on his midsection continued to throb with pain. He ignored the text, like usual, but he knew he had no choice but to face the inevitable.

A sudden ringing pierced Shouto's ears, and the world around him blurred into an indistinct fog. Gripping the wall for support, he struggled to regain his balance. This was a familiar sensation, one he had learned to endure in silence. He chastised himself, reminding his weary mind that his father didn't need to know about his weakness, that he couldn't afford to show any vulnerability. His trembling subsided, and he convinced himself that he was fine, that he was overreacting.

Father doesn't need to receive a call from a teacher, telling him I passed out from a few skipped meals, he scolded himself silently. With renewed determination, he straightened his posture and resumed his steady pace towards the classroom, blending in with the rest of the class.

As they settled into their seats, Aizawa began the day's lesson, delving into a particular subject. Conversations sparked among the students, Shouto tried to listen but his mind wandered back to the text. He snapped himself out of it and remained focused.

Throughout the class, snippets of conversations echoed in the air, addressing the subject matter and seeking clarification. Shouto observed the interactions, his thoughts drifting as he grappled with his own inner turmoil. Yet, he remained attentive, absorbing the knowledge imparted by Aizawa.

The day progressed, blending together with moments of shared learning and fleeting exchanges between students and their teacher.
