Part Fourteen

Reader pov

We walked back to the main grounds to tell the heroes what had happened. Todoroki tried his best to comfort Deku as we waited for the police. I asked Aizawa to take me to Kirishima so I could tell him about Bakugou. He looked heartbroken and demanded he saw Deku and Todorki. The rest of the night and the next day were filled with constant interviews and checkups. Aizawa Sensei even suggested we see a therapist to talk about our experiences. I spent a lot of the time talking to Tsu and comforting her. 

A few days after the incident, I was watching the press conference while face-timing Tsu. She was watching the news and talking to me occasionally. "Y/n, check the news!"

I jumped in shock at her suddenly yelling but obliged. I was even more surprised that All Might and Bakugou were on the news. "They found Bakugou," I yelled. 

"Yeah, kero. I texted our classmates but Midoriya, Kirishima, and Todoroki haven't answered or read it yet."

"You think they really went after that Nomu with the tracker," I asked Tsu.

"I hope not, kero, but I'm starting to think they did. I'm worried they'll get hurt."

"Why don't I come over? I could comfort you while we watch the news together," I suggested.

"Okay, kero, if it's okay with you." With that, I hung up on Tsu and quickly got changed. I packed a bag with my outfit and makeup and went to the living room in search of my mother. 

"Hey kiddo," she said without looking at me. 

"Hey, I was wondering if I could go to Tsu's house. She really needs a friend right now," I said while grabbing a few snacks.

"I don't know, it's really dangerous out there right now. With all the people mad at UA, I don't know if it will be safe for you."

"I promise to be careful, please Mom." She finally turned to me.

"You like her, don't you? I can see it in your eyes," she responded with a smile. 

"Yeah, I do. And right now she needs me, please let me go to her," I pleaded.

My mother sighed. "Okay, but be careful. I love you."

"I love you too, thank you so much."

I arrived at Tsu's house, dressed in my preferred clothes. I walked to the door and knocked. The door was opened by a young boy with black hair covering half of his face.

"Who are you," he said in a monotone voice. 

"My name is Y/n. I'm a friend of Tsu, can I come in?"

He closed the door in my face. I stood with my mouth open and my eyes wide. A bit later, Tsu opened the door.

"Sorry, kero. That was my younger brother, Samidare," She said with a sigh.

"It's fine, can I come in?"

"Yes, please." Tsu led me into the house and to her room. "Here, we can be alone in here, kero."

Alone. My face flushed and I set down my bag. I reached into it to hide my blush. "I brought snacks," I mumbled. 

"Thank you so much," Tsu said with a bright smile. I placed the snacks on the bedside table and sat on the edge of the bed. 

Tsu giggled. "You can come closer than that, kero." Tsu reached out her hand. I grabbed it and she pulled me close. "You don't mind this, do you?"

"Nope, not at all." I laughed awkwardly, my face burning up.
