***  A few days later (After Big Three Meets 1A)

I woke up around five in the morning from another bad dream. They've been happening since the USJ incident but now I have some relating to my birth mother. It's stupid because she didn't hurt me. Why am I still so upset about it?

I groaned when I couldn't get comfortable enough to go back to sleep. Might as well do a morning run. I got dressed in my gym uniform and started warming up in front of the doors. It's chilly out, a light breeze giving me goosebumps. I started off with a jog, slowly upping the pace. Eventually I got to the point that it felt like I was racing myself. I slowed down a bit and looked around while I ran. The sun starts poking its head out, making the temperature rise too. I've been thinking about work studies and if I want to do one. I'll probably ask Hawks to let me go to his agency.

I heard a rustling and looked forward to see Shinso jogging down the path. "Hey, Shinso," I exlaimed, smiling at the student.

He looked at me with what looks to be hesitance. "Hello," He says stiffly.

"You must be training, right? I really hope you can get into the hero course, it'll be cool having another classmate to train with," I beamed.

"I'm not here to make friends," Shinso replied coldly.

"Funny, Todoroki said the same thing," I remarked, "And yet it only took us a few weeks to befriend him."

Shinso rolled his eyes. "I don't see how that matters."

I hummed. "You know, I think if you gave us a chance, you would get along great with me and my friends."

"Whatever," He growled, though not as aggressively as usual. I took it as a win as we both went on our separate paths.

Back in the dorms I saw students grouping up in the common area. Weird, I don't think today is movie day, or game day. I opened the door and saw an adult male with black hair. He has a camera around his neck and a tan coat. I tensed up and tried to sneak away but it seems I caught his attention.

"I'm Taneo Tokuda! I'm a journalist here to see what dorm life in Height Allegiance is like, would you mind telling me your name and a bit about yourself," The tall man asked as he shook my hand rapidly.

"Oh, uh, sure? My name's Y/n L/n, I'm a first year student at UA high school, although you probably already know that. My quirk is shape shift, I can shift into any animal as long as I know enough information about them," I explained my quirk while moving my hands around. The journalist frantically wrote everything down in his notebook.

"Cool, and what about life here? Who do you hang out with and what do you guys do in your free time?"

I thought about it for a second before answering. "I'm good friends with Midoriya, Uraraka, Tsu, Todoroki, and Iida. We hang out together all the time, studying and training together as well, but as a class we have movie night and a game night once a week. Often Bakugo will cook for the class, but if it's not him most of us can work together to make something."

"Interesting," Taneo hums and writes that down. Then he moves on to the last question. "And what about relationships? Is anyone in your class dating?"

I stared blankly as I thought of what to say. I'm fine with people knowing, but I'm not sure what Tsu thinks about it. I settle on a simple "That's none of your business, Taneo sir," and smile.

The reporter simply laughed cheerfully and moved on to the next person.

I watched him go and released a breath. "He was asking a lot of questions, kero."

I smiled at my beautiful girlfriend and agreed. "He asked if anyone in the class was dating," I said, resisting the urge to grab her hand.

"What did you tell him," Tsu wondered, a finger on her chin and her head tilted.

I giggled at the memory of a few minutes ago. "I basically told him that it wasn't any of his business. I wouldn't say anything if you didn't want me too."

"I wouldn't have minded, kero."

"Huh?"

"If you told him," She elaborated. "I wouldn't have minded. But I'm glad you wanted to make sure I was okay with it first, kero."

I smiled and gently grabbed her hand in mine. "Does that mean I can do this?"

My froggy girlfriend blushed but nodded her head. "Then can I do this too," I asked. I leaned over and kissed her on the forehead. Tsu turned a bright shade of red. We both turned when we heard the sound of a click.

"Oh, sorry," Taneo said cheekily. "I couldn't help it. You two look so cute together. Want to see the picture?"

I looked at Tsu with a gentle smile. She nodded and the reporter showed us the photo. "He's right, we do look adorable," I beamed.

"I won't put it in the report if you don't want me too," Taneo grinned. "In fact I can print a copy out for you two and then delete the picture."

"It's okay, kero. You can put the photo in your report, but can you print out a copy for each of us?"

I looked at Tsu in surprise. Taneo smiled and did as she asked, handing me and my girlfriend a picture of me kissing her. "Thank you so much," I chirped. Taneo was already moving on to his next person to interview and his next picture to take.

"I'm going to go hang this in my room," I practically sang, "I'll be back out for dinner. Bakugo's making it today, right?"

Tsu nodded. "He's making katsudon," She confirmed, "Apparently it's Midoriya's mom's recipe. It's Midoriya's favorite."

I chuckled at how obvious Bakugo is in his affections. I'm surprised Midoriya is so oblivious. I went to my room with a smile on my face. Entering my dorm and sticking the picture on the wall, I thought about how amazing my life has been since I started going to UA. I was able to quit my job, make some friends, and even get an amazing girlfriend. I might have to get a new job though since my mother kicked me out. Even if Aizawa adopts me, I wouldn't want to be a burden.

Setting an alarm for five, I turned on some calming music and began to unwind. Everything will work out in the end.
