Y/N had always been good friends with Amber Freeman. They had gone to high school together, had the same group of friends, and had even ended up going to the same college. They were as close as sisters, or so Y/N thought.

One day, Y/N started receiving threatening messages from someone she didn't know. The messages would come at all hours of the day, and always from a different number. They would say things like, "I'm watching you," and "You better watch your back." Y/N knew it was probably just a prank, but she couldn't help feeling a little unnerved by it.

Meanwhile, Amber had been acting strangely. She had started distancing herself from Y/N and their friends, and spending more time with a group of guys that no one knew. Y/N tried to talk to her about it, but Amber always seemed to be in a hurry and never had time to chat.

One night, Y/N was home alone when she heard a knock at the door. When she opened it, there was no one there. She assumed it was just a neighborhood kid pulling a prank and tried to ignore it. But then, her phone rang. It was Amber.

"Y/N, you need to get out of your house right now," Amber said urgently.

"Why? What's going on?" Y/N asked.

"Just trust me, okay? Just get in your car and drive away from here. And whatever you do, don't stop until you get to the police station."

Y/N was confused and a little frightened, but she trusted Amber and did as she was told. As she drove away, she realized that the messages had stopped coming, and that she felt a little relieved. Maybe Amber was right, and this was all just a silly prank.

But when Y/N got to the police station, she was met with a group of officers, all of whom were looking at her with suspicion. They told her that someone had reported her as a potential suspect in a string of murders that had been happening all over town. Y/N was shocked and terrified.

It wasn't until much later that she found out the horrifying truth. Amber had been the one sending the threatening messages, and she had been working with a group of serial killers known as Ghostface. They had been targeting young women in the area, and Y/N had been their next victim.

Amber had betrayed her best friend in the most heinous way imaginable, all for the sake of some sick thrill. Y/N couldn't believe that someone she had trusted so completely could be capable of something so evil.

From that day on, Y/N was never the same. She struggled with trust issues and nightmares, unable to shake the horror of what had happened. She never spoke to Amber again, and she made sure to always keep her guard up around people she didn't know well.

In the end, Y/N learned a valuable lesson about the true nature of friendship, and the dangers of trusting blindly. She knew she could never forget what had happened, but she also knew that she couldn't let it define her. She picked herself up and moved on, stronger and more determined than ever before.
