After reaching there , when Abhyuday entered that shabby old house, he was greeted by 2 other men, around his and Madhav's age ,they were Sanjay and Vinod . He asked Vinod about his daughter's health. It was Abhyuday who named Vinod's daughter Durga.
After settling down Madhav showed them the 2 copies of the invitation card of the banquet to be held in Town Hall the very next day, which he managed to sneak out from under the nose of other officials.
Everyone's calm expression was changed to serious.*FLASHBACK*
5 years ago, London
There was a hustle bustle among all Indians residing in one of the major cities of England,London. People were not happy by continuous exploitation and suppression in recent years....
Amidst this chaos...one day at Agatha Tea Shop ( a common place for Indians residing in London) Abhyuday happened to meet Vinod , who was sent to England by his employer( a merchant) to expand his business overseas.
After each other's brief introduction Abhyuday got to know the conditions in India a little deeper through a more raw source Vinod. He found Vinod like minded.
After returning to India after 1.5 years , Vinod remained in contact with Abhyuday through letters.
Seeing deteriorating conditions back home and for properly analysing each and every step of Britishers , they began their own secret society sort of thing, which was later joined by Sanjay, an expert in memorising things especially numbers, only by looking at them once and Madhav , who was a government employee forced by circumstances but a true patriot by heart. Madhav was an important person in the group as he was working directly under colonial government..
Madhav was able to reach out to Abhyuday at the station because he was the only person who deboarded the train at Durgapuri Station.Abhyuday suggested not taking actions driven by emotions as it is not helpful in achieving bigger goals. All of them agreed.
Throughout these 2.5 years of them operating, they focused on establishing connections within the government body itself and with another people who can be of use in future, they focused on gathering intel and informations about next actions of English.
Their main aim was to make the local people aware about the policies and consequences implemented by Britisher. They were not against things that were aimed for ease of people's life like railways.
These 4 were also successful in stopping Britishers to take over the small scale industries and coastline used for fishing. Only with the help of people without revealing their identity, which was intriguing the British Government.
Abhyuday provided them with planning, resources and funding required for execution.
