Hiding and Running Like Hell

So what I used a fake name, by the time they figure that out i will be gone. I started working on getting out of here. Which really wasn't hard because we were on the first floor. I looked around to see if there were any cameras. There weren't any. These people are so stupid. As I was looking around I noticed that there was a window. The only problem is it didn't open. Well looks like i am breaking a window today... Or I could use the vents.

I heard voices walking down the hall, so I quickly hid under the blankets and pretended to be asleep.

"Do you think she used a fake name."

"I don't know we will see once Jarvis is done loading."

"And how long will that take."

"It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, and no less than 3."

The voices got quieter as the footsteps faded.

Ok so I only have a couple minutes to get out of here. Now the window or the vents. Hmm... Vents.

Haha! I'm gonna pull a Vent. (Her friend on text)

I pushed the dresser to the middle of the room as quiet as possible and climbed on top so I could reach the vent. I pushed the vent in and pulled myself up. But as I pulled myself up I knocked over the dresser.

Shit! That was loud.

I quickly pulled myself in the rest of the way and it was actually pretty roomy. Not the time Hayden.

I crawled as fast as i could and finally made to a vent that lead outside. And apparently my luck was looking up cause there was a tree right there that I could climb down.

Yay! No broken bones today.

Not the time subconscious!

Sorry!

I finally climbed down the tree and ran as fast as I could without falling. I made it to an ally and hid behind a garbage can. I heard Ironman's suit fly above me but thankfully it kept going. I waited for about an hour before I assumed it was safe to come down.

I figured it would be safest to head home, if I could even call it home. So I walked cautiously across town, going through alleyways when I could as to not be seen. Eventually I made it to my street and started towards my house.

And it turns out luck wasn't on my side like I had thought it had been because as I reached my house I could faintly make out 3 figures standing on my front lawn talking. I was about to turn around to start running when one of the figures looked straight into my eyes and moved his finger as if to say come here. I knew immediately that at least one of the figures was my dad. And that terrified me more than I would like to admit. The other two turned my way and when I saw their faces I wanted to run. I knew I wouldn't be able to get away. Especially when they started walking my way, but I knew it would be better than facing my father, Hawkeye, and The White Wolf. So that's what I did. I ran and when I say ran I mean ran like hell. Because I knew if they caught me and gave me to my dad, he would kill me and there was no question about it.

I could here at least one pair of footsteps behind me, though it was quite hard to hear anything through the ringing in my ears. But still at that moment I knew they would catch me and when they did bad things would happen, cause nothing good comes when I disobey my step father. And I mean, Nothing good.
