I could hear the footsteps getting closer and closer. I knew I was almost out of time, and I also knew that something great would have to happen in order for me to get out of this. But that isn't my luck, which by the way seems to be getting worse.

I felt something cold around my wrist and I was yanked back hard enough that I stumbled, but before I could fall I was steadied by that same cold thing grabbing my shoulder. Only this time it was followed by something of the same size just instead of cold it was warm. I looked up and I guess I was crying and just hadn't noticed it because next thing I knew, my tears were being wiped away. When my vision had cleared up enough for me to see I finally realized who had caught me, who was as everyone now knows as The White Wolf.

After a minute Hawkeye had caught up to us from where he was standing with my dad, "Come on we have to bring you to your dad."

As soon as he said that more tears welled up in my eyes and I started sobbing. I didn't want to go back to my dad because I knew I would get hurt. The two Avengers shared a look. "Hey, shh. Why are you crying." Bucky asked the poor girl.

"Y-y-you ca-an't take m-e back. Please don't take me back. He will kill me. Please. Please. He hurts me. Please you can't take me back." She kept mumbling things after that but they couldn't make any of it out.

Hawkeye stepped away and pressed on his com, that was hiding in his ear. "I need some back up. We have a possible case of child abuse."

All the Avengers replied "On my way" and made there way to the girl's street.
