It was 11:00pm. I decided to go to bed since I wanted to finish unpacking in the morning.
I woke up at 8:00am. When I was finished setting up my room, I got dressed. I wanted to go out to see if Tulsa has changed at all since the last time I was there. My mom gave me $10 for lunch and I left. I took my dad's car, he didn't mind. When I drove around, nothing was really new. I just noticed that a DX was put in, but that's it.
I drove up and down the windy roads. I had never been in the area before. It was kinda scary. It had those alleys like you would see in a movie.
Suddenly, a man ran across the road as fast as he could. I swerved the car and almost hit a tree. What was he doing? I thought to myself. I ran out of the car and caught up to him in one of the narrow alleys.
"What the hell was that? You could have killed yourself." I stated.
"Sorry, I needed to get out," he was out of breath. It was obvious he was being chased by the cops.
"Alright, what did you do?" I asked.
"Look, I didn't do anything."
"It's fine. I've been chased by the cops too. I won't tell."
"I slashed Tim's tires and I need to get out," He explained.
"Just stay in here, I doubt they will look in here," And they didn't.
"Are you new around here?"
"Yeah, I just moved here from Maryland. I'm Angela." I said.
"Are you Angela Cage?"
"Yeah, actually. Why?"
"I'm Dallas Winston." And at that moment, I froze. I thought I would never see him again.
"Dallas? Hey," he looked better from the last time I saw him, "wow, we need to catch up."
"Yeah, I think we do. Meet me at the Dingo tomorrow night. 7:00." And he gave me a paper, which was his number.
