Chapter 8

With in days Rose was back at school, but she was unable to find her two friends. One of the gothic witches came up to her and says," Hi I am sure you don't know me, but I have to tell you something."

Rose who's interest was peeked says," Okay sure, what is up?"

The witch sighs and says," Your friends set you up."

Rose taken back by the witch exclaims,"  What?!"

The witch," A fairy cot them talking about you and a guy named The Master. I am sorry to say they used your friendship for them selves. I am not sure who The Master is but be careful."

Rose trying to understand what the witch told her says," So what happened on my birthday was all their fault?"

Witch replies," Yep sorry."

Rose asks out of concern," Has any one seen them since?"

Witch thinks for a moment the says," No but a fairy I know says they have past."

Rose feeling a little sick now that she thinks about asked timidly," They are not like dead are they?"

The Witch sighs again sadly and says," Yes, they both turn to dust and returned to mother earth. Sorry again."

Rose wondered out loud," By the way what is your name? I can't keep thinking your the witch. I would like a name I can refurl you as."

Witch amused says," Oh sorry I am Hidie. I am part of Bone convent."

Rose smiles extends her hand out for a shake and says," Okay thank you Hidie for telling me."

Hidie takes her hand and shakes it and says," No problem. Some of us thought it was best to straight out tell you despite what the Triade says."

Rose a little upset now say threw clinched teeth," So they where going to keep  this from me?"

Hidie feeling like a dark cloud are drawing close over head says," Yea, oh and that the other worlds representatives are arriving either tonight or tomorrow."

Rose feeling really pissed off says," Oh really?"

Hidie retorts," Yep."

Rose gets her emotions back in check asks Hidie," Hidie I know this is asking a lot but would you like to be my personal assistant? You would be my general girl friday."

Hidie excited to work for the town guardian says," Oh wow really? But why? I just gave you some bad news."

Rose says," Because you gave me the truth while every one wants to keep it from me."

Hidie says," At your service my Lady."

Rose pleads," Please just call me Rose."

Hidie smiles then says,"  But your a goddess and a guardian. You are also a Luna, Female clan head, and Head witch."

Rose thinking about all the titles she now has says," Really? All those?"

Hidie shakes her head up and down," Yep and think your royalty because I heard some where about a crown for you."

Rose drops her head." Oh fuck no!"

Hidie worried she did some thing wrong," Hey, it could only be talk okay."

Rose sighs," Knowing my mates its going to happen. I really don't feel like a queen or any thing like what people told me I am now."

Hidie," Well we could glam you up to meet expectations."

Rose," Nope I just want to be me. But I will need it for the big ball to announce me."

Hidie," You found your dress yet?"
