Dark stories turned boastful,
Not in intention but in inflection of tone.
For why would one brag about building the skills of manipulation?
It troubles the minds of many when one admits that they can indeed manipulate another,
But why does that admittance condemn you from the trust that has been constructed already?
Perhaps trust had never existed in the first place.
For you would never manipulate someone who you so dearly care about,
Right?
