Know-it-all

It's funny really,

how much I've grown to dumb down our conversations.

Conversations reduced to those easy questions...

How are you?

How was work?

Reduction because anything more challenging requires a lecture on how foolish I am.

How young I am, how inexperienced.

I may not be the oldest or wisest, but I have experienced you.

I am the product of everything you and society showed me.

Mister Know-it-all, you taught me no one, in fact, will ever know it all.

And I will never pretend to, much unlike you.
