Spring was soaking in the furthest creek. It was cold, and had many insects trying to bite her nose off, it seemed.

Then, like a bird or siren's call, she heard a familiar, gut-wrenching voice:

"Time for training, Spring-a-ling!"

She slumped, and fell deeper into the river. Spring did no quiero to be seen by her—yes, steamy and seductive—mentor. He had caused enough pain to her bloodline already.

As if I even have one... Maybe I was born in ConeClan? That would explain my no-power-syndrome. Spring sunk even deeper into the bone-chilling water, fighting the urge of death, or drowning. She could still hear her mentor, calling out for her, like the annoyingest of the ConeClan's elders.

She brinked, realizing she was demasiado por debajo de la superficie, and needed help from Henry, that handsome devil. He would never forgive her for drowning herself and would be very disappointed.

Spring began to wave them paws frantically. She felt the cold water rushing to her ears, adrenaline pumping. Then, she saw a familiar face burst through the element of dripping wet water.

It was Henry!

Despite her hatred, Spring still was happy to see that he was finally rescuing her, after taking his sweet time. I'll be free of this untimely demise, Spring gasped, grinning at Henry as he pulled her to shore by her torso.

"You stupid duck! What did you think, you'd ¿simplemente flotar en el agua mientras te ahogas, sin nadie cerca? ¡Tonto! ¡Tonto! ¡Tonto! Fool, fool, fool!" Henry demanded, dripping cold, shivering.

Spring dipped her head soundly. This is NOT my fault. If anything, it's his! What if my own mentor destroyed my entire bloodline, leaving no Spanish sailors to copy my normalness?

The fury boiled in her throat. "You're the idiot! Why'd you wake me from my slumber? Ever since Mangle died, I haven't gotten any sleep. This pond was the only place I could rest my eyes." Spring felt a grunt coming on, and Henry's eyes were aflame.

"Your mother died two days ago! And before you spit this, it wasn't my fault. I didn't know where Ballora was. And guess what? Now she's dead! Because of you!" Henry retorted, sending a shiver through Spring's paws.

"Huh? What do you mean? I didn't kill her!" Spring felt a rush of murderous things float.

Perhaps I kill Henry, for vengeance? That would shut him up!

Spring dropped to her knees, and began to pray, howling.

"I don't know. I'm just so furious at you. What if you died?" Henry interrupted her meditation sentencing.

Spring glared at him, hatred boiling in her grayish eyes. "You're about to die. Are you ¿pedirlo? Chupacabra!"

Henry gasped, eyes sparking. Then, without another word, he lunged for her claws. Spring felt a shock of dismay run through her.

¡¿Este pitido loco realmente me está atacando?! panic spiraled in a glow of aesthetic things in her mind.

She snapped back to reality, quickly displaying her paws, unsheathing them, and flipping him over. She raised her vicious paws over his belly, and Henry's entire pelt began to bristle.

This continued for a while. Neither of them were winning, but both were getting bloody and wounded. Near Ballora's body, Spring soon realized. Who would heal them now that she's gone?

Then, after about two hours of battle, Henry froze. "Stop... Oh, detente, Primavera. You know, I've been fighting you all this time, because I love you?"

Spring looked taken aback. "What? You've wounded me, and yelled at me, then you confess your love?"

She blushed. This was the most romantic thing anyone had ever done for her! Forget Monty, Henry's eyes sparkled with love, unlike his aging pupils ever could. But, Monty was still gorgeous. A tattoo of 'Stay Beautiful?'

Henry gulped. "Please, listen. I..."

Spring threw herself into Henry's arms, licking him rapidly, purring.

"Yes! I'll be your mate! Of course," she gasped, so joyful, she forgot about the pain of a thousand cuts she had plastered on her thigh.

Henry purred back, rumbling deeply. "You're so beautiful... But no se lo digas a nadie. Este es un romance secreto. Understood?"

"Yes, yes, yes, my love. Let's sleep here, now." Spring suggested.

"Sure," Henry added huskily.

They soon fell asleep, in the comfort of each other, in the freezing water.
