"I was so happy before you trotted in with your long tail and fluffy pelt and snatched the skull of Monty. His heart is tied to mine. Yet, you keep interrupting that!" Bon Bon was circling Spring.
Bon Bon was clenching her teeth sharply. She dug her claws into the pavement, making that dreaded noise again. She shut her eyes, praying Freddy wouldn't hear, and wake up the camp.
"No, I haven't. Plus, you're just an ugly little brat who toys with Freddy. Don't you know he's in love with you?" Spring's words would've shattered Bon Bon's spine a few days ago, but now, she felt nada. All she wanted was Monty.
And she know how she would get him:
A final battle.
"Fight. Me." Bon Bon hissed through clenched teeth.
Spring's eyes lit up. "A final battle?" she asked.
"Perhaps. This final battle could turn into multiple final battles, or even a Gran Guerra, but... Fight me." Bon Bon spat on Spring's scruff.
"To the death?"
"N-n-no," Bon Bon whispered before preparing to lunge.
"Si, I see. Die, putrid, bustling little busting wolf!" Spring howled, loud enough to wake up all of New York City, let alone Mexico. But somehow, all Bon Bon could hear was silencio, and the chomp of tooth and claw.
Bon Bon regenerated. Spring was on all fours, slashing her belly that she'd flipped over. Bon Bon kicked mercilessly at Spring's paws with her hindlegs.
"¡Ay!" Spring gasped, blood gushing from her ankles.
Bon Bon knew that the ankles of any cat was there most sensitive spot. So to kick and scratch was wonderful, and a victory to Bon Bon's eyes.
Then, before she knew it, in her daze of triumphancy, Spring had stood shakily on her hindlegs, and pummeled into her.
"Gracias, backstabber!" Bon Bon snarled into Spring's chest as she pushed her away, feeling blood pour from the slit by her ear.
Spring and Bon Bon continued like that, back and forth, for about forty minutes. Then, it was time to decide a clear winner. The final battle had begun!
This final battle is exhausting... But, what if I do not win this final battle? Will I bargain for another final battle? So many final battles... Final battles are fun though. Especially when the final battle is over a final battle for Monty's graceful, cisne-like heart.
But in this point in time of the final battle, Bon Bon was thankfully winning. She had pinned Spring, with no real regards of getting up. Spring was struggling, like a baby leaf, lost in the pisoteo de la manada de bisontes.
"No one can save you now, Piggy!" Bon Bon shouted into Spring's face as Spring's attempts to get out of her reach began to illude.
"I... Don't call me..." Spring was out of breath, Bon Bon's claws digging into her shoulders as she started to push her backwards.
Then, before Bon Bon's eyes...
...Spring died!
Or at least it appeared so, for Spring's breath slowed, and her chest stopped rising and falling. Bon Bon stopped clawing at Spring, and stopped, staring at Spring's lifeless body.
"What have I done? Amo tanto la Primavera, ¿cómo podría dejar que esto le sucediera a mi amada?" Bon Bon's eyes were teary.
Then, as Bon Bon's vision was hazy and blurred from sorrow and betrayal, she sprang backward. Spring had used those powerful thighs of hers to kick her into the lake of their backyard!
"N-no! Aaa~" Bon Bon couldn't swim!
Bon Bon was drowning in water! They surface broke through, ice cold water pouring into her lungs. Bon Bon swam rapidly, but couldn't reach the surface. The water was pitch-black, clear, and reflected the stars. It tasted like she was even eating a star!
"Mamá Mía, ¿cómo salgo de aquí?!" Bon Bon tried to scream, her ears ringing from the water flooding in.
Then, Spring busted through the water! Her arms circled gracefully as she ducked her head, before biting into Bon Bon. She clawed at Bon Bon, and she retaliated, knocking Spring to the ocean floor.
"¡Traidor! ¡Monty es mío!" Spring growled, her voice echoing the waterbank, clear through the flurry of a school of fish swimming by, waving their fins, acutely aware of the dramatic final battle happening downstairs by the almost aboveground water, where the fish swam.
"You're the traitor! You left him on the aisle, while he proceeded to smile." Bon Bon retorted, their underwater final battle becoming more and more viciously.
And just like that, Bon Bon began to run out of air! She'd be the loser if she swam up for a breath of fresh air, vegetables being thrown into the pool, drama filling the cool, night air.
But soon, it wouldn't be night! Their final battle would be finished in the water, at the break of dawn. All of their Packmates would witness it, if they were unlucky, and the two unlucky wolves would be unlucky enough to change the unlucky Elder's bedding.
"Fight me gusta un man!" Spring demanded, ignoring Bon Bon's harsh, ear-warming comeback. She sprang at Bon Bon, who was gasping for air, flailing uncontrollably.
"I'll drown!" Bon Bon screamed through the busting bubbles.
"Drown if you must. But as you die, Monty will be mine!" Spring meowed, looking half-certain, the only chunk of her looking distraught and slobby.
Bon Bon knew Spring's weakness: death. If Bon Bon were to start drowning, Spring's motorbike skills and innate adaptations would kick in, and she'd save her enemy.
Spring was too much of a wimp. She didn't understand the meaning of yandere, fighting to the death. If she were like Bon Bon, they'd both die together, in the tomb of a fish, eaten by a shark.
"Eres un mentiroso. Si muero en ti, te matarías antes de dirigirte a Monty, ¡con gracia!" Bon Bon's new retort was jaw-dropping. Spring looked messy, her pelt ruffled, yet still beautiful.
"Fine. I'm going up!" Spring's voice, sick with tension, soon disappeared, and Bon Bon blinked. Spring had left her all alone, in this dark excuse of a hollowed out lake.
Bon Bon's forearms were nearly limp for exhaustion. She didn't remember how to swim! So, desperately, Bon Bon tried to reach for the surface.
Then, at that very moment, the water broke again, and a splash of a new wolf had entered.
IT WAS FREDDY!
"Freddy," Bon Bon choked out, gurgling.
Freddy pulled Bon Bon by the toe, up to the surface. He dragged her up and out of the water, where she lay, panting for breath.
"Why would you do that?! You idiotic furball! I'm going to kill you before you kill yourself!" Freddy hissed, yet he licked her coat with such passion, and had sparkles of love in his chocolate eyes.
Bon Bon purred, noticing the newfound crowd of her Packmates. They were gathered, obsessed with Spring, and congratulating her. Bon Bon nearly spit out the leaf from jealousy and hatred, love poisoned.
"Freddy, you... Ugh. I don't know what to think. I loved Spring so dearly, yet she hates me..." Bon Bon's accidentally loud, truthful words brought the attention back to her.
Spring spun on her heels. "¡¿Qué has dicho?!"
