Bon Bon struggled to focus as he watched Monty. He was so muscular, his muscles ripping every time he pranced back and forth the Sandy Campus. It was where he, Henry, and Chica were beginning their mentorship on Bon Bon, Freddy, and Spring. At the moment, he was explaining how mates should be good.

"No being mates with wolves from other Packs. Okay." Monty growled, sharpening his claws on a rock.
Bon Bon looked over, seeing Spring look at her paws, red with blush. She likes Monty too?! That idiot of a wolf... Soon she'll feel dread. Also, why would Monty be mates with the only non-Legendary wolf, from a Legendary Wolf Pack?! What a disgrace.

Bon Bon sighed, this was a sigh of relief knowing that Spring could never get in the way of her relationship with Monty.

"Bon Bon, are you even paying attention?" Chica asked. Bon Bon realized her nose was touching his, and smile, pressing his nose into hers, making her back up.

"Yes. Get away from me, little zoo rat," she said between clenched teeth.

Chica shivered in fear and nodded, obedient to Bon Bon.

"Bon Bon, Henry, Spring, come with me. I'll take you around our territory." Monty instructed. Ugh---that sewer rat, Spring, is coming with us? Disgusting. Why does she always have to get in the way of my perfect plans? she thought to herself, anger spiraling.

"Hey dude," Spring said as they padded out of the Sandy Campus, the two Apprentices falling in step.

Bon Bon could almost smell the scent of a lie. Spring knew that Bon Bon liked Monty, and was covering up their future disputes, over the heart's journey.

"Don't play the squirrel. We both want Monty... Whoever he likes more at the end of today, keeps him for eternity. Understood?" Bon Bon instructed with tensity.

Spring's eyes flashed, but there was no sparkle. Even in her eyes, anyone could tell she wasn't one of Bon Bon's kind. She was nothing like a Legendary wolf.

"Fine," she hissed.

And so they went on. Monty led them through pines, prickly brambles, and rivers. He remained extremely handsome, of course, and melted Bon Bon's heart every paw step of the way. But the journey back home was dreadful. Bon Bon was nervous about whom Monty would love more. He had stuck up for Spring before... And he hardly even knew Bon Bon! Sooner or later, Bon Bon ought to work her magic on dashing young Monty.

So, he said in a hushed, flirty voice, bounding up to walk beside Monty: "Hey... So, I just wanted to thank you for the gift." he paused, and Monty narrowed his eyes, but a little circle of blush clouded his cheeks. "I've been wearing this smile ever since I met you."

Monty looked taken aback, his cheeks rosy. Bon Bon was, after all, a pretty she-wolf, with her ocean-blue eyes, white paws, and beautiful markings. Who wouldn't love it if Bon Bon chased after them? "Erm... Th-thanks," he stuttered.

Then, interrupting again, the beautiful, love-filled moment, Spring came bounding to the other side of Monty. "I'd hate to interrupt, but I just wanted to ask if your paw was heavy, Monty. If so, I'd love to hold it for you!" she said brightly.

Monty's eyes lit up. "Uhhh..." he began.

"Also, are we still on for tonight?" Spring asked, glancing at Bon Bon, who looked furious.

"Who's your mentor again, Spring? 'Cuz I was just beginning to think it was Monty. But, oh, wait... He's my mentor." Bon Bon flashed back.

Spring rolled her eyes, then drew back to walk beside Henry. Then, all too quickly, they reached ShadowPack camp. Inside, they were greeted with warm smiles by their Packmates.
