King Bowser woke up to stumbling and chatter outside his bedroom door. His Koupa guards knew better than to mess around, especially during the night shifts. Something must be wrong.

"H-Hey! What are you doing?!" one of them called out to something.

"We're talking to you!" said the other.

Bowser groaned, and pulled a hand down his cheek in drowsiness. He pulled himself out of bed and stomped to his door.

"What's going on?" He demanded as he swung his door open.

The two Koupa Gaurds spun around to look up at him in fear. "Y-Your majesty!" they bowed.

"Quit the groveling, whats going on?" he growled.

"The Green one sir," said the shorter if the two guards. "He was walking down the hallway."

"We called out to him, but he completely ignored us!" said the other.

That didn't sound like Luigi. Luigi had been in King Bowser's possession for maybe two weeks now, and he hadn't ever tried to escape before. Now you may be wondering: Why would Luigi be here in the first place? Wasn't Bowser usually kidnapping Princess Peach? Why capture Luigi?

Well to tell you the truth: the first time it was an accident. Bowser had captured who he thought was Princess Peach for another wedding heist, only to realize he had captured Luigi in disguise. The Green Plumber had disguised himself as the Blonde Princess in an attempt to trick him, and it worked. However during his time held captive before Mario could rescue him Luigi had managed to grow on him. He was lovely company and the other Koupalings seemed to like him a lot. Bowser Jr. became very attached and actually behaved for him; unlike any other Nanny who would run from Bowser's castle covered in whatever remains Bowser Jr.'s pranks involved.

As a result he ended up kidnapping Luigi again next time, on purpose this time. And soon enough it became the new normal.

But Luigi trying to escape? That was not normal. So what was Luigi up to tonight?

"Which way did he go?" Bowser huffed.

"He went down that hall," the Koupa guards pointed.

Bowser stomped down the hallway after the green hero.

...

Bowser managed to catch up to Luigi down the hallways. He was still in his nightwear, provided to him by the Koupa Servants. He was a returning guest at this point afterall. Bowser didn't think he was foolish enough to escape in his pajamas, especially barefoot. He was also walking a little funny, and for some reason into the kitchen.

Well, Bowser thought to himself. At least he's not trying to leave!

He followed him to find Luigi pulling out random pots and pans-- How did he even know where those were kept? Had Luigi even been down to the Kitchen before?

"What do you think you're doing?" Bowser demanded.

Luigi turned to look up at him, a dazed expression on. "Mhmm...I want Pasta." he mumbled.

"At 2 am?"

"Its all sunny outside," Luigi pointed to the brick wall. "Perfect day for Pasta."

"Luigi, thats a wall."

Luigi ignored him, and continued to pull out more kitchen utensils. Including a tub of cake fondant, clearly not needed for pasta.

"Are you sick or something?" Bowser grabbed Luigi's face in his hands and forced him to look at Bowser.
