Only when we're high (Ryeji)

A/N Update

I'm writing this summary of what happened in the previous chapters in case you don't remember cuz I took way too long to post another chapter.

I've been writing mostly Yeji's pov. She hasn't been feeling comfortable in the leader position and the lack of control over the group's music and choreography has been getting on her nerves lately. She came up with a choreo for a unit song for the new album but when she presented it to JYP he totally mistreated her. That led to her wanting to have some kind of control so she dyed her hair from blond to red. But now she has to face the consequences of that action. We still don't know what the punishment would be but since they are forbidden to change their hair, Yeji thinks JYP would probably kick her out of the group. And at this point, she's feeling so out of place that she sort of accepted that.

I haven't written much of Ryujin's pov. But her internal battle was that she was afraid of the cameras catching her true self. She always hated how the fans shipped her with her members and especially with Yeji. Why? She still hasn't fully admitted it to herself. Now, Ryujin hasn't noticed Yeji's distress. She has been way too consumed by thoughts about her growing feelings for Yeji and why Yeji was being hot and cold with her. One minute Yeji would come to her at night to cuddle without talking, the next she'd completely ignore her. But now that she and the girls found out that Yeji dyed her hair, she is extremely worried about her.

Chaeryeong and Lia have figured out what's up with these two, while Yuna is too good for this world and is oblivious about what is happening pretty much every time they are on a flight. And yep, it's too dirty to summarise that so I'm hoping you remember how Ryujin and Yeji have been fuck buddies for quite some time now. They have been ignoring each other (that's more of Ryujin's fault) for a few years but thanks to those intimate moments they have been getting closer again. But not close enough as they have both not seriously discussed what they are doing and what's it gonna lead to. Right now they are both on board with living in the now and not think about the future.
