I brushed off my pants, now covered in sand, before slowly lowering them from my body. Underneath them was my black bikini and I was ready to get a tan.

As I sat back down on the towel below me, a huge surge of water landed on the upper half of my body.

"JOHNNY!!" I screeched, now drenched in the cool water. "What the hell!" I threw my fist against the sand.

"Maybe that'll make you come in the ocean. You've been sitting on the beach for the past hour. " He flashed a smile at me, still carrying the tool of his crimes in his hand.

I huffed and stood up to meet him. He smiled again but it didn't last long, within two seconds I had pinned him to the ground.

"Gyah!! Elliot!" He squirmed beneath me but I wasn't letting him go. "You had this coming buddy."

Eventually after a few more seconds of struggle I let up and he rolled me off of him. I chuckled as he took a few shallow breaths.

"Damn. I always forget how strong you are." He sighed and pushed himself off the sand.

"I'll make sure you remember." I laughed and looked up to his outstretched hand. I smiled at it for a moment before grabbing.

He pulled me up gently and started to lead me to the water. He turned his head to face me and looked directly into my eyes. "You're gonna love this I promise." He smiled warmly, and truly that was all I needed to convince me to dive in.

When we met the tide we were greeted by the rest of our friends. "Hey cheeks." Haechan greeted me with the nickname. "I was wondering when you'd finally join us."

"I don't know. Those bright yellow, bandana, swim trunks you're wearing were deterring me." I jabbed.

"Fuck you." He deadpanned which made the others chuckle.

"Tried to tell you Hyuk." Mark jabbed.

I laughed then dapped up Mark and Taeyong. "You been laying out there for an hour and still ain't tan?" Taeyong quipped.

I smacked his arm and scowled. "I was just about to tan until this fuck," I turned my gaze to meet an annoyingly smiley Johnny. "Dumped a bucket of that salty ass ocean water on my head."

"You know I love you Elliot." He scrunched his nose and spoke in a baby voice.

I rolled my eyes and rubbed my forehead, trying to swallow my emotions back down. God he was annoyingly cute. "You're lucky you're my best friend or you'd be a dead man."

He slung his arm around me sloppily, "You know I'm the best best friend you could ask for."

I gulped as my heartbeat raced and quickly pushed myself away from him so he wouldn't feel it practically falling out of my chest. I sighed, "Shut up dude before I drown you." I smiled, which resulted in him splashing the salty ocean water in my face.

"You're good as dead, Suh!" I began to swim after him as he went further out into the ocean.

"Ugh. I'd kill for a cold beer right now." Taeyong panted as we trekked up the steep hill leading to the condo we were renting over the last few days of our spring break.

"I have some in the fridge, don't worry." Mark pat him on the shoulders, with Taeyong fist bumping him return.

Shortly we reached our place and Haechan twisted the key in the door. After hours at the beach we were all very hot and extremely tired.
