The Gospel in Focus

When he comes.

God, the Son is coming back.

What can you show him?

Have you kept his commandments?

Have you won souls for his kingdom?

Is there bitterness, malice and grudge in your heart at the point of his return?

What have you done with the talents he has given you?

Have you buried yours in the sand?

What have you done?

Did you only pray and fast, without feeding the hungry and clothing the naked?

Did you only read the Bible without applying it's teaching?

Have you taught others what the Bible taught you?

Or have you kept the beautiful words of God to yourself?

Have you been a hypocrite at any point, and not practiced what you preached?

Have you treated your neighbours with love?

Have you loved God with all your heart, and chosen him at all times?

Have you have kept your body pure and holy, remembering that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit?

Have you spoken to God and waited for him to speak back to you? Or did you run off after praying?

Did you pray with intent and faith? Or was there ever a seed of doubt in your heart?

Have you stood up for the weak, rather than turn a blind eye to their oppression?

Have you prayed for Fortitude, rather than complain about your service to God?

Have you prayed for Piety, rather see the worship to God as burdensome?

Have you at any point grieved the Holy Spirit?

Have you at any time cheated and hurt anyone, especially intentionally?

Have you truly fellowshipped with God?

Did you often seek for God's mercy?

Have you at any point been ashamed of preaching or practicing the gospel?

Were you too busy to do the works of the God? Or did you believe your faith alone was enough?

Have you fully served him in Spirit and in truth?

Have you truly served him at all?

Have you truly served God with your Time, Treasure and Talent?

Did you fully surrender? Or did you hold back at any point?

What did you hold back?

What are you holding back?

God, the Son is coming back soon.

He will come down the exact way he went up.

Would you be found worthy to go back up to God the Father, with him?
