The cold breeze in the air bought goosebumps up your arm, but you didn't feel like getting up and heading inside, you wanted sit out for longer. Right as you were about to rub your arms for warmth, Shin-ah's big fur coat was dropped on you. And beside you, was the man himself Shin-ah.
"Thank you, but aren't you cold? You should keep it." You tell him, handing it back however Shin-ah simply crouches beside you, wrapping you with his coat. He doesn't say a word and just sits beside you. You liked spending time with him, his presence bought you comfort.
"You know.. we're kinda similar in a way." You start, breaking the comforting silence between you. He turns his head towards you, tilting it slightly in confusion but he waited for you to continue. "As in, we both have different eyes. Eyes that normal people aren't used to." You tell him.
He thinks about what you said, and realizes that maybe that's why he's always felt a connection with you. Or perhaps it was the fact that you kept your promise on showing him the world. He still remembers the hand you held out to him in the cave. You were the reason he was able to escape that horrible place.
"You should let me see your eyes more often, their beautiful." You tell him, resting your head on his shoulder. You feel the man next to you freeze up when you do so. But after a moment he takes off his mask and looks at you. "Look at them forever."
