After eating their ice cream, they decided to take a nap in the back seat.

Arny looked back at the three girls and smiled. They look so peaceful, he said to Brandon. I know, Brandon said in agreement. Before long, it was close to 10pm and Arny, Brandon, Danny and the girls had all arrived at Danny's house. Arny got out of the car and opened the door with the key Danny had handed him in the car.

Danny and Brandon woke up the sleepy girls and all of them followed Danny inside. As they reached the doorway, the first few drops of rain began to fall, causing them to pick up the pace. Once inside, Danny led them to the kitchen and inquired if they were hungry. But Anna replied, No thank you, but can we take a shower and maybe use some of your clothes? Danny said yes and lead them to the washroom.

Rose stopped and looked at the painting of a green tree, and Arny said to her, Is something wrong, honey? Rose smiled back at him and Brandon and followed Danny and the girls to the washroom.

After everyone had taken their shower and had some rest, Danny prepared late-night pancakes for everyone. Then, he showed the girls to their room and said goodnight.

Despite everything they had been through, everyone went to bed with a smile on their face, knowing they had each other and a safe, warm place to rest.
