Danny and his group of friends had always been close, and they'd often talked about one day having a family of their own. When they heard about the adoption of children from orphanages, they decided to take on the challenge.
They went to the nearest orphanage and found three girls who had been abandoned. Anna was 14, Danielle was 16, and Rose was 15.(they do have phones) The group was overwhelmed with emotion and each of them chose to adopt one of the girls.
As they signed the adoption papers, Danny asked the girls if they liked ice cream. All three nodded eagerly and said yes. Then Arny asked them what flavors they liked. Danielle said strawberry, Rose liked chocolate, and Anna also liked strawberry.
Danny and his group of friends stopped at an ice cream shop on the way home to get the girls the flavors of ice cream they liked. The girls ate their ice cream and giggled as they relished the sweet cold bites.
Danny and his friends had just become a family. On the way home, he knew that the girls would have lots of questions about their new family and home, but he also knew that he could trust his friends to help him as they adjusted to their new life.
