Dehradun is situated within Uttarakhand. You can find everything you need in this place. I came here two years ago because my sister, Niharika di, took responsibility for me following the death of our grandparents. My sister married Vinay Karthik. He works in a company as a manager. Vinay Jiju is the only one who can take care of my sister like no one else. His love for her is evident in the way he takes care of her. Their marriage took place 7 years ago.
It's Sunday, and Di wants to go someplace to get some fresh air. Jiju fulfilled her wish and brought us to this place. A nature park called Lachhiwala is a collection of man-made pools where you can have a good time with your friends and family. Flanked by Sal trees, it has a pleasant atmosphere like a forest, adding to the charm of the place.
We get out of the car and feel fresh like always. Jiju always has a perfect picnic plan, just like me. I miss Abhinav and Pihu here. well, they are my best friends. They were the first friends, I have ever made in Delhi, my birthplace. Pihu is like my sister; we never lie to each other.
"Dodo, we are waiting for you to join us. come fast dodo." Di's voice interrupts my thoughts like always. She can't even leave me for a few seconds. She is not the type of lady who just loves her own family. well, she is like my mother. my parents died when I was 2 years old. Things were changed for me but she managed to make everything perfect.
"Coming di," I told her and run towards the location.
Dodo is my nickname. Dodo is known as a stupid bird. I am stupid, this is what my sister thinks.
"Aahir and my in-laws will be here tomorrow. My mother-in-law is a person of rituals. from tomorrow, please don't even think about wearing these clothes." I looked at her in shock. those traditional clothes are just too much frustrating. She makes a pout while rubbing her swollen belly. She and her obsession with her belly.
"You are her daughter-in-law di, not me. why would I change my life rules for her." I will never follow her rules. it's not like I will marry his son that has to be in her good book. She is a very irritating lady with a stupid mentality. Things should be like her choice but I am excited to meet her son more than her. I hope he will not be like his mother otherwise it will lead to disaster.

Now, I am in front of my wardrobe to plan my outfit for tomorrow to impress my sister's mother-in-law. I can't able to find anything for the last couple of hours. I am not able to anything to make things complicated for my sister or her husband. They both did a lot for me but no one can fill the space of my parents in my life. They are best as my second parents but their baby will take my place in their life.
