CHAPTER- 28

AYESHA'S POV

The atmosphere is lively as family members gather for breakfast. Everyone was chatting and enjoying the moment. Whereas Di and jiju were angry with us for hiding the most important thing from them. I know they love us, but we had our reasons. I was trying to explain everything but that didn't work. Nobody was ready to listen us. We had our reasons but I won't be giving up on us. I looked at Aahir, who was all chilled out. Di served us and sat beside jiju. Jiju was trying to feed vinu as Di was busy with her work. Aarti Aunty was quiet, and Ashok uncle was busy with his newspaper.

Aahir winked looking at me and I glared at him in return. Gathering the courage to speak I said "Di, I was thinking..." Everyone looked at me. I looked down hesitant to start "Say something," di told me. "I am sorry, di. We just don't want to hurt you. You know how much I love you. You are my everything di," tears welled up in my eyes. Aahir kept his hand over mine giving it a slight squeeze, assuring me.

"Bhabhi, we both are very sorry. You mean a lot to us but we want time. We both want to be assured about each other." he continued after me. The room was silent as family members turn their attention towards us, holding hands and Di's gaze was already on us. Aahir smiles and held my hand tighter for the support "We want you guys to accept our relationship." he added further.

There's a moment of surprised silence, followed by a mix of reactions from the family members. "Well, it's about time! We were all wondering when you two would make it official." jiju told us with a smile. "How long has this been going on?" di asked us. We both looked at each other. "Uh, almost a year" we said together and they looked at us in shock.

"A year?" Aarti Aunty looked at us and we nodded. "Well, I always thought there was something more between you two." di told us. We both looked at each other. "Main chahti hu ki in dono ke liye pooja rakhwai," Aarti Aunty told us about her thoughts. We were excited after making this official and live as couples in front of everyone.

"Now have your breakfast guys and leave for your work. Dodo, your aahir will drop you at your college." di told us and we had our breakfast. 'Family matters a lot' My inner self said.After breakfast We both left to our respective places.

Di and jiju were busy attending guests. Ashok's uncle was helping Aarti Aunty in the kitchen. Samarth bhai and Nishant bhai left with sanvi bhabhi to aahir's room. "Dodo, get ready for pooja," Di pushed me towards my room. As I am yet not ready for the pooja. I was helping Di and everyone in the kitchen and with other work. Little moments with family becomes the best moments of our lives. I am happy to be an official part of this family. Mrs. Ayesha Aahir Karthik.

After one hour, I got all ready for pooja. Di looked at me and kissed my forehead. "You are looking so beautiful my dodo," she hugged me and jiju kissed my forehead. "Mera bacha" he hugged me and said, "I am waiting for your wedding. I want to see you as the most beautiful bride. Ye pooja aaj mummy ne tumhare liye rakhwai hai. Aaj mera bacha kitna pyara lag raha hai. Nazar lag jayegi tumko. Tumhari di bhi itni beautiful nahi hai jitni tum ho. Dekho kaise ghur rahi hai niharika meko. Like chudail-" he stopped in mid-track. We both looked at Di. She was glaring at him. He gulped in fear and smiled. "My wife is the most beautiful woman," di and I looked at each other. We both busted out laughing.
