Tanya soon stormed off after Edwards interruption so I lead him back to the house as he explained why he was here, "Well I was going to school like my family and I normally do when I hear the gossip of the school that there was a new student. So I went through the beginning of my day as normal until I got to lunch and the thoughts of all the students and their judgements of the new girl whose name I just learned was Bella Swan and she is the one human whose thoughts I couldn't read. Then skip to biology and we're in the same class she walks into the classroom and the second her scent is blown my way I immediately realized that she was my blood singer and she then is told to sit next to me. To avoid eating Bella I tried to switch science classes and she must have heard because the next thing I know she is behind me glaring at me."
With every word I grew angrier and angrier at the Cullen vampire next to me till I grabbed his arm and began my rant, "Listen up douche bag, Bella Swan is my cousin and I know that you're old school, however that doesn't give you an excuse to not know when your treating someone like an infectious disease when they've done nothing to you. If you don't start treating my cousin right I will rip you apart and burn everything but your head and I'll put your head in a mold with clear resin and put you up as a decoration somewhere hidden just in case your family comes over!"
It's safe to say that as soon as I finished my threat I had slammed him against a tree making him look down at me in complete terror and he was begging and pleading and making promises of never hurting her and never making her feel so terrible. We walked the rest of the way back to the house in complete silence.
Once we reached the house we were met by Tanya, Kate, Irina, Carmen and Eleazar as the coven started bombarding both Eddie boy and I with question on why Edward was here, and why Edward looked like he might pee his pants(I do admit I was rather smug when Tanya asked that), and why Tanya looked so angry with Edward.
After shooting Edward a look to keep quiet I began to explain what had happened, "So Tanya and I were on our first date and she was showing me how to hunt we then had our first kiss which Mr. Cullen over here interrupted," glares were being shot at the new arrival as I paused, "We were really enjoying ourselves when a cough ruined the moment and Tanya rightfully punched him in the jaw and stormed away. I decided to lead Eddie boy here back to the house as he explained to me why he was here and long story short my cousin is Edward's blood singer and he openly treated her like an infectious disease to her face and had the gall to think that it was her fault, so another long story short I gave him the treat her right or else speech and punched him in the jaw myself." Now I believe that I finished my story pretty calmly, but everyone else was either so angry at Edward for how he treated someone who would be pretty much family pretty soon or they were the target of the anger and looked just about ready to run for the hills.
As everyone began lecturing Edward, I pulled Eleazar to the side to ask for some advice, "Hey I need your help I want to propose to Tanya and I'd like a bit of advice on how to propose to her seeing as you already did it with Carmen."
Eleazar laughed at my panic and gestured to Tanya as he stated, "I may not be able to see or create bonds, but my coven leader is madly in love with you. Tanya is in love with YOU so just be yourself and she will love it and agree immediately and then start freaking out about wedding dates. You got this man, just don't hesitate and she will love it. Just one question: I know you don't have a ring yet you just got here you didn't have time to shop for one, so are you gonna go shopping alone or are you gonna take one of us with you?"
I let out a sigh of relief as I responded, "I already asked Kate and Irina to go ring shopping with me as they are Tanya's sisters."
After Eleazar walked away Kate and Irina pulled me out of the house and into the car with them as we headed to the Jewelry shop as I started asking the sisters about the perfect location.
By the time we reached the store (which wasn't that long as all vampires drive like maniacs) Kate and Irina told me that Tanya loved the beach and told me to stop stressing.
We entered the shop and they both pulled me over to a certain row of diamond pointing at a gorgeous ring with a heart shaped diamond with little sapphire orbs complimenting it:

This is the one it's beautiful. I knew that I had to surprise Tanya with the most romantic beach date ever so as soon as we got back to the coven house I started planning the date.
I'd soon rented out a strip of beach on a nearby lake, I grabbed a couple of things that I thought that Tanya might want to learn and after I had it all set up and prepared at the location I blindfolded Tanya and lead her to the spot. The minute she saw everything she turned around and swept me up in an amazing kiss that had me weak in the knees as I walked her over to a paddle board which I pushed out into the water and helped her on and made sure that I stored the paddle somewhere we could reach it as we let ourselves float to the middle of the lake.
We were both straddling the board facing each other just kissing when suddenly I grabbed the box out of my pocket and pushed Tanya to the front of the board as I carefully got on one knee more towards the back of it. I opened the box and began my rambling proposal, "Tanya Denali, you are a gorgeous amazing girl, and I know that we only met a couple weeks ago and we only just shared our first kiss, but I enjoy every moment that we're together and I don't want to waste any more of those moments without being able to call you my wife so would you, Tanya Denali make me the happiest person in the universe and be mine?"
My mate screamed, "Yes!" with tears of joy in her eyes as she pulled me in for a kiss letting me put the ring on her finger when we both lost balance and fell into the lake mid kiss. We swam back to shore and then went home to tell the others the wonderful news.
