family reunion part 2

Angela took her mother towards the balcony of the restaurant to get some privacy as Angela looked at her mother sternly as the others watched silently

"Why are you here mother" Angela said "Is it really so bad that I want to visit one of my daughters and meet her soulmates" kairi said

"Mom I know you mean well but you can't just keep leaving home with your current condition" Angela said her face darkened as the others listened in

"What is she talking about mom looks fine to me" Celeste said with a raised eyebrow "shh they'll hear us" Vergil hissed for her to keep quiet

"Angela" kairi said as her tone became soft and calm "I'm just trying to make everyone happy there's no need to tell them" kairi said

"Mom...why can't you see this you can't hide anything from me I know you know I can see that your dying inside" Angela said her voice straining

A stick snapped getting noth Angela and Kairi's attention as Eden, Izumi, Celeste and the two sets of twins stood there I shock

"Mom...your sick" Celeste said eyes wide "when were you going to tell us" Eden said her face darkened Kairi looked down to the floor closing her eyes

"I was hoping I didn't have too" kairi said "why would you keep this a secret from us...we're your family for Pete's sake" izumi said sounding hurt

"Tell me this is some sort of sick joke" Eden said as she grabbed Angela's shoulders shaking them "tell me your joking" Eden said looking into Angela's darkened face

"There's no mistaking my visions are true no matter what I've never been wrong" Angela said her voice cracking in sadness

Eden let go of her shoulders crying "I'm sorry you all had to find out this way I suppose I just thought it would be better if I kept it a secret" kairi said

"Keeping a secret from your own family...what good are we if we can't take care of you" Angela said as she walked past everyone heading towards the exit of the restaurant

Dante and Vergil of course rushed after Angela after she rushed off and caught up to her Dante grabbing her arm "hey" Dante said stopping her in her tracks

Her whole body was shaking Vergil lifted her head seeing her tears streaming down her face Dante put an arm around her neck leaning his chin against her hair

Vergil hugged her by the waist as Angela cried against her soulmates sobbing loudly muffled by Vergil's coat jacket as she felt her self esteem break down in sadness

Dante carried her bridal style while she had her arms wrapped around him Angela's face buried in the crook of his neck for once staying completely silent as she cried

Vergil opened the door to devil may cry as Dante carried her inside crying her eyes out Dante looked at her with sadness

Dante's pov

I feel bad for her but it doesn't explain how she knows about her mother's condition "do you really think I only read minds" Angela said in heartbreaking tone

"I saw her death in one of my visions she doesn't have much more time to live I just don't want her to say that it's pointless to make us worry about her she acts like it's no big deal and I hate it" she said crying

"I hate that she acts so carefree when she's dying, I hate that I won't be able to see her smile anymore when she's gone" she said screaming in tears

After awhile she cried herself to sleep "she could predict her own mother's death no wonder she was angry with angry that her mother didn't care" Vergil said

"It's late we should go to bed too" I said as I carried her unconscious sleeping body to the bedroom we prepared for her

We both layed down with her in the center and I buried my face in the crook of her neck tiredly she had a tear stained face and I sighed deeply as I fell into slumber

In the morning...

Vergil's pov

I was the first one to wake up seeing our mate with a tear stained face as Dante had his face buried in the crook of her neck I looked at her face

Even when she was in pain it felt like my heart clenched tightly it's a pity devils can't cry otherwise I would have cried as well for my mate's happiness

3rd person pov

Vergil got up to go and make some breakfast then realized that the bills were lessening and he was getting a little suspicious

Dante came down the stairs with a yawn "Dante" Vergil said spotting his younger twin brother "hm what?" Dante said with a yawn

"Have you noticed the bills have stopped coming" Vergil said Dante raised an eyebrow "what I'm not sure what your getting at" Dante said

"Have you been paying the bills" Vergil hissed trying not to lose his temper "no of course not who do you think I am...now that I think about lady hasn't bothered me about my debt for awhile" Dante said

Angela walked down red eyes from crying and sat on the sofa in the lounge when Vergil and Dante looked at her they immediately went over

"Hey babe" Dante said "hmm" Angela said tiredly looking at them "have you been paying our bills without our knowledge" Vergil said softly

Angela smiled tiredly "why wouldn't I help out my soulmates while their having a hard time" Angela said Dante and vergil froze

"How did you pay my debt exactly" Dante said nervously Angela looked amused at them seeing how she's so honest "I used my money of course" she said

"You can't just waste your money on us" Vergil said Angela leaned her head on Vergil's chest still feeling tired "a thank you is simple enough" Angela said sleepily as she yawned
