The desperate blonde ran through the hospital lobby like a mad man. His princess needed him, and he would be damned if he didn't get there in time again.

"Calling Adrien right-" The giant man's voice stopped as he saw the blonde boy running towards him with tears in his eyes. "Marinette! Where is she? Is she okay? Tom, what is wrong with my princess?" Adrien questioned in panic.

Both Tom and Sabine stood frozen in shock. That couldn't just be a coincidence. Adrien had shown up at the exact time that Marinette had called out for him.

"H-how?" Sabine questioned.

"I-I don't know. I couldn't sleep. I felt something was wrong, and then I heard screams. I could hear Marinette call out to me. I can't explain it. S-she was hurting. Where is my princess? Tell me she is okay."

"She had a panic attack. The doctors just gave her a sedative. I think it was her memories, but she was screaming. She said it hurt, and before we knew it, she was getting sedated. The doctor said there is no way to know how the event affected her progress until she wakes up, but based on her state, it might not be good," Sabine whispered sadly.

Adrien's hands shook as Sabine said the words. It was all his fault. His jealousy caused Marinette a panic attack.

"It's my fault. It was our argument earlier. I said things about our past out of anger. I was so jealous that I couldn't control myself. I am so sorry."

"I already told you. It is not your fault, my boy. She had to know the truth eventually. She will be fine. I know it."

Adrien's eyes fell to the floor, attempting to avoid eye contact. While he knew the Dupain Chengs did not blame him, he still felt incredibly guilty. All he wanted was for his princess to be okay. He wanted his lady back. He wanted to propose to her the right way and make their promise come true.

"Tikki," Adrien heard Plagg's panicked voice in his head. "She did it. It was Tikki trying to get her memories back. How could she? No one has ever survived that. Where is Tikki?"

Adrien's eyes immediately went back up. "I need to see her," he spoke. "Alone," he added in a whisper as if to signal them it was hero duty. Understanding, the Dupain Chengs nodded.

The blonde wasted no time going into the room. Plagg immediately flew out of his pocket in search of Tikki.

"Sugar Cube!" He called out worryingly.

"Sugar Cube, where are you?"

Plagg worried more at the lack of response, but the red kwami weakly flew out of the backpack. "She did it, Plagg. She remembered," Tikki whispered before falling on the bed weakly.

Adrien's heart stopped. Did she remember? Marinette remembered them?

"Sugar Cube! Sugar Cube, wake up," Plagg yelled worriedly. He knew the Kwami would be alright. She was a Goddess and immortal, but he was worried about what this meant for Marinette. Tikki was too weak. What if they lost connection? Without Tikki's strength, Marinette would have been sent into a void of darkness, never to return. Adrien's heart will perish. He wouldn't be able to come after that one. Not again.

"Tikki, wake up, please. Did you finish it? Were you two able to complete the process? They didn't stop you, did they? Tikki, wake up! She needs you."

Adrien's eyes widened. Plagg did not mean what he thought he meant, right? Marinette was alright. Right?

"P-plagg?" Adrien questioned in a whisper. "You don't mean-" Adrien couldn't finish his sentence. All he knew was that he couldn't go through losing Marinette again. This time if she left, he was going with her.
