• * IMPORTANT WARNINGS * - this chapter contains incredibly sensitive themes. this is 1 out of 2 times it happens in this story. this chapter contains domestic violence and verbal/mental abuse. i marked when that part does happen for those who would rather skip (— —), it is a very small portion so the rest of the chapter is okay. you have been warned.

• this update took longer because i rewrote the entire chapter. i ended up moving from the original idea and i hated it so i went back and went with the original plan.

Last night, while you were out with your friends and having your fun with Jean, Reiner sat at home alone and stressed about you being out with a bunch of your friends, including one who wanted to sleep with you as is and already disrespected that in front of him. And while Reiner sat at home in a state of self pity, Kendra stood outside his apartment door, paying him a visit as if she had any business doing so in the first place.

She looked back to her phone, swiping through the pictures she took of you and Jean walking to the club together, a lucky spotting as she walked to Reiner's apartment.

She smirked, locking her phone once again before sticking it into the back pocket of her jeans. She brought her hand up, knocking on his apartment door, hoping he was home.

How did she find his apartment? Well, her little helper Floch found student files, one being Reiner's little cousin whom she found in a post on his Facebook page. He was one of the emergency contacts on said file- address, phone number, and his full name to confirm she was at the right place.

Reiner looked away from the tv as another knock echoed through his apartment. Part of him hoped it was you but he knew better. You weren't gonna leave the club just to come see him and comfort his anxiety. You'd selfishly stay out- probably allowing other men to feel up on you. It really pissed him off.

He lazily walked over to the door, not really knowing who to expect but it sure as hell was not the woman who was standing before him. "Uuuh- you're the girl from the party?" He thought it was her but wasn't really 100% sure since he was also drunk that night.

She smiled, "Kendra." She nodded. "I wanted to talk."

Reiner didn't know what to think or make of the situation. He didn't understand how she found his apartment and he didn't understand what she could've possibly wanted to talk about after their 5 minute interaction that didn't really end well in the first place. "Talk about what?" He gave her a puzzled look.

"I know something that you'd probably like to know as well." She titled her head to the side, batting her lash extensions. "Can I come in?" She asked.

"Nah, I have a girlfriend-" "Yeah, it's about her." She giggled. "Trust me, you're gonna wanna know."

Reiner didn't want her in his apartment because he knew he was attracted to her and it'd be wrong but his curiosity peaked as he stepped aside, letting her enter. She smiled, "Thanks."

"So," he shut the door, turning to her as she made herself comfortable on the loveseat. "What's so important?" He walked over to her, sitting down on the opposite end.

"Are you aware of who I am?" She crossed her legs, a sly smirk sitting on her pretty face. Reiner awkwardly looked to the side before looking back to her. "You're Kendra?" He shrugged. "I'm lost."

"I'm Jean's ex girlfriend and at the time we met, I was his girlfriend." She watched Reiner's eyebrows furrow, confusion furthering. "Jean? The dude she dated in high school?"
