Kai had calmed me down after I had one of my mental breakdowns. I was just slowly getting more, and more depressed as the days went on, I realized that I can't see Uncle Bob, Caprice never sees me but I want to be the hero she can look up to, Mum and Dad might have the Late-Night-Fights more often, I can't be there when my friends need me, and so much more.
A few hours later after I had my breakdown Kai called Rose so we can all meet up again. She said that she was having a snack with her sister and she'll be over when her parents get home. "Don't worry Sho it will be alright."
"I'm fine it's just I have to call the magazine company and tell them I won't make it today and that I'll have to schedule it for next week." I looked down at my feet.

Rose ended up coming three hours after we called.
"I ALMOST RAN SOMEONE OVER, WHAT'S WRONG?!" Rose's dead voice boomed through the empty house.
My soggy/quiet voice counter-attacked. "God damn Rose you don't need to yell, and why were you speeding?"
"Kai said that you guys needed me A.S.A.P.!"
Kai responded, " I said that because we need you here so we can hang out, and this was the only way to make you actually come."
Rose growled at Kai starting a game of 'Can I Roast The Cat for dinner?' The two started running all around the house and yard. While that happened I started making a blanket fort in my room facing the TV so we can watch a movie.
Two days later we all meet up again. We decided that the group was going to explore a safe place. I also brought Midor-, Izuku with me. Kai was shirtless and was wearing some athletic shorts, Rose was in a pink wavy shirt with black bootie shorts and tall pink socks.
I walked up to the group, "Kai! Rose! I brought one of my other friends, his name is Midoryia." They both looked up from their phones.
Rose spoke up first, "Hello Midoryia, I hope that you are not afraid of heights."
I laughed and then looked at Kai, his eyes are more slanted and he was giving Izuku a hard stare. He must be jealous that I found another friend. Almost every time I get a new friend they use me for the family money, not knowing that I will never use it unless it's very necessary. Then they leave me because I can't buy whatever they want from the mall.
I trust Izuku though he isn't one that cares about money. He just wants to be accepted by his peers. Boom Boom Boy especially.
Kai's serious voice called out to the group, "Are we going or not? I don't have all day."
We all nod and start walking behind the building we met up at. When all of us were behind the building Rose moved the long latter-looking wood palette aside from the wall. "Alright everyone this looks sturdy enough, let's go up."
"WAIT WE'RE GOING UP?! WHAT IF WE FALL? I DIDN'T BRING MY PHONE!!" Izuku shouted.

I comforted Izuku, "Don't worry, Kai is strong and he's part cat he can get all of us down if we need to."
"He's not coming down. I'll just leave him up there."
I smacked Kai on the back of the head and dragged him away by his neck fur. "We'll be right back!" I smiled at the Bean and Cornstalk.
"He is going to hurt you, he can't do that if he is stuck on the roof of a gas station."
I sigh and go back to the group. Rose nods in my direction, Izuku gave me a shy look, "I don't want your money Shō." Cornstalk must have told him why Kai doesn't like new friends, "I like you for who you are, charming, kind, caring, honest, and you became my friend knowing that I didn't have a quirk."
I grabbed his face, "Is your entire personality about quirks? You know this Muffin, I don't give a damn if you have a quirk or not. You are flawed, that's something you can't control, you may not be popular but you're a good person. That's what made me invite you that day. Got it. If I hear another word about super-human powers I will let Kai leave you on that roof."
Izuku looked a lot calmer than he did before.

While Rose was stationing the wooden ladder up correctly I put my AirPods in, the first song that came on was 'Excuse Me, I'd Like to Make a Complaint' by Hotel Ugly. I looked at Izuku and smirked at him. Rose finally got the pallet sturdy and we all voted Izuku to go up first since he is the lightest.
After everyone was up. We moved areas to the front of the gas station, but something moved in the shadows. I squint in the direction and noticed a person standing there.
"Hey guys I'll be with you in just a minute, alright? I'm just going to check out something!" I said while skipping over to the shadow.
They tried moving but I ran after them and caught them before they jumped off the roof.
I noticed that they had a bird head, almost exactly like Ravens. "Tokoyami?"
He looked at me with a flushed expression, "H-hasbira?"
