Standing up, and walking over, we both went back downstairs and I started making my breakfast for Caprice, and Raven.

When I was in the middle of making the hashbrowns, Caprice walked down in her pirate pajamas, rubbing her eyes. When she looked up and saw me cooking she smiled and yelled, "Big Brother!! I didn't know you would be home today!"
Raven looked up at me with fear in his eyes, like he's never seen nor heard a child before, and he was looking for help in me. Caprice ran up to me and hugged my leg since I was so tall she can't reach my waist.
I covered the hashbrowns and picked up Caprice so I can hug my little sister properly. "Hello, Caprice! Yes, I am home! I'm making you and my friend, Tokoyami here, breakfast."
She looks at Tokoyami and asks, "Can I call him Raven, Big Brother?"
Tokoyami's eyes widen and he looked at me, and I looked at him, "Only if I can call him that too! You ask him though!"
She smiles and looks over at Raven sitting at the kitchen island. "Can me and Big Brother call you 'Raven' Mr. Tokoyami?"
His feathers ruffled, which I assume is another way for him to blush. He nodded slowly looking down at the floor, feathers still ruffled. I smile, he's adorable. I set Caprice down and told her to go change and the food would be ready soon. When she was upstairs I smiled at Raven.
"You sure we can call you Raven, Tokoyami?"
He looks up from his book nervously, "I don't think you remember but... around midnight, I woke up to find myself in your arms... and when I tried to move, you held on tighter and mumbled 'Don't go...Raven. Stay a while longer.' "
My smile turned into a smirk. "I know. I wasn't fully awake, but I know. You looked like you were having a nightmare, plus you just fit in my arms so perfectly it was hard not to hold you!"
His feathers ruffled even more. Before he could speak Caprice came running down the stairs. Yelling, "Mum! Dad! Brother is home and there is breakfast!"
I froze. Mum, and Dad home? Aren't they supposed to be at work? Being the pro-heroes Nightquake, and Water Merilan? I really don't want to hear their homophobic asses today. I started setting the table before I throw a pan at them.
Tokoyami put down his book and looked at me, "What is the meaning of this sudden anger?"
I grip the plate harder, "I don't want my parents here."
I can feel him move from his seat and walk next to me. "What is your reason for that?"
"I don't need a reason." Was the only thing I said before my parents walked into the room, to find me smiling. As Raven introduced himself, Caprice was faking a smile just as well as I was, and I was so stiff I feared my parents would notice.
