Morgan's POV

I'm shaken awake by who I would hope to be Lex. I open my eyes and see that I am correct.

"Wake up! We're here!!" She says, more or less bobbing in her seat.

I roll my eyes and stand up to stretch. I feel my back crack and I moan with pleasure.

She pushes me out of the way to get our bag from the overhead compartment. I'm surprised that she stayed awake this long.

I lean back into the seats and grab my phone and its charger from the outlet by the window before shoving it in my pocket. I pull my sweatshirt back on from before and with out bags, we walk out into Union Station, in beautiful Chicago, Illinois.

God, I've missed this city.

But I forgot completely that I wasn't supposed to stay with Lex, Pat and Jonathan. I came to kill myself. I guess I can still do that but there would be people that actually cared. Dammit.

We walk into the station lobby to see Patrick standing where we came out from with a sign that says Alexa's name on it. I take out my phone to film it, as Pat had asked me to before I passed out. He had told me to take his and Jonathan's numbers from Lex's phone and text them.

I film her reaction which is:

She drops her bags once she sees Patrick, who has a huge smile on his face. She runs to him, with tears in her eyes and jumps into his waiting arms. They kiss for a while, since it is the first time in close to a year that they have seen each other personally. And then they hug again, him just holding her close. True love.

I walk over, after gathering her bags.

"You got it?" Patrick asks me. I nod in response. I see Jonathan walk over from the direction of the bathroom, who is quickly greeted by a teary-eyed Lex. He hugs her for a bit and exchanges the typical "I've missed you" dialogue.

I stand there talking to Pat, who I was soon to find out enjoys to hug people as he hugged me once we got properly introduced. I must say, he gives very good hugs.

Jonathan walks over and greets me as well. Once we are properly introduced, he hugs me as well. Good, Patrick must have rubbed off on him.

Jonathan grabs my bags, as Pat grabs Lex's, and we walk out to the car.

We drive back to the apartment, Pat driving, Lex in the passenger seat and Jonny and I in the back seat.

I feel myself begin to doze off, so I close my eyes. I feel myself being pulled slightly to my left, where Jonny is. I feel an arm wrap around my half-awake figure and leaning against what I presume is Jonathan's shoulder.

I, again, feel myself being pulled back into sleep.

I am woken up by a French accent, which clearly belongs to Jonathan, whispering "Wake up, we're at the apartment." in my ear, numerous times.

I finally pull myself awake and out of the car.

"Good morning sunshine," I hear Patrick snark from behind the car. I simply flip him off, as I am not in the mood to talk yet.

I grab my bag from the trunk, but have them taken away from me by Jonathan.

"You just woke up, you don't need to carry this." He says in his 'captain' tone of voice.

"Ay, ay captain," I say, giving him a half-assed salute to which he laughs at.

We walk into the lobby and into the elevator, without having to wait. Once we arrive at the actual apartment, Jonathan opens the door.

"Home, sweet, home!" Patrick yells dramatically as he runs into the apartment and flops onto the couch. We all laugh at his stupidity, even his own girlfriend laughs as well.

"Would you like a small tour of the place?" Jonathan asks, leaning down to whisper in my ear as to not disturb the two lovebirds making out on the couch.

I nod, just wanting to get out of their presence before clothes came off.

Jonathan shows me where I will be staying, as it is right down the hall from where we came in. It is a spacious room that has it's own bathroom and it's own door onto the balcony. There is also a large closet in the room as well.

He continues to show me around, us ending up on the balcony, which has a lovely view of the Chicago skyline.

"What brought you to 'the Windy City'? If you don't mind me asking." Jonny asks, sitting across from me on the other wicker chair.

"I just wanted to go back to where I came from before it's too late to be able to go back." I remained vague with my answer, as to not raise any suspicion to him.

He nods in response, understanding what I mean.

I shiver, although I am wearing sweatpants and a hoodie.

"Cold?" Jonathan asks, standing up to grab something.

I nod. I am glad to see that he is bringing over a blanket. He moves his chair over next to mine and drapes the blanket over us.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" I ask, half to him and half to myself.

"Why wouldn't I be nice to you? You seem like an amazing girl who is misunderstood where she used to be." He states simply.

Oh if he knew the truth. Maybe I will tell him. Someday.

"Yeah, okay." I say back, not believing him in the slightest.

We talk about everything and nothing, what it was like growing up where we grew up to Jonathan's hockey career and everything in between.

We learned a lot about each other but I remained vague about why I came back though he tried to pry it out of me.

I didn't want him to know.

The sun begins to set behind the skyline of my hometown. I grab my phone to take a picture of it, though I probably don't need to because I am going to be seeing this daily until I decide to actually kill myself.

"Do you want to come to practice tomorrow morning? It may be a little boring but you could get to know the team, if that sounds okay to you?" He asks me timidly. I nod, telling him that I'll go without the need for words.

"What time do I need to be up?" I ask him.

"We need to be there at 11am, Chicago time." He clarifies, as I am still somewhat jet lagged.

I nod again. "Don't worry, I'll be in to wake you up at 9:30 our time too." He adds.

We both laugh and I feel tired again.

I don't want to go in so I just get comfortable in the chair I'm currently sitting in and using Jon's shoulder as a pillow, I again fall asleep.

I feel him pick me up, bridal style, and carry me into what will be my room for the next chunk of time in the foreseeable future. He places me onto the bed and carefully places me under the covers. I also hear him close my blinds, which he described before as 'blackout blinds' which will not allow any light into the room in the morning.

He also presses a short, almost protective kiss to my forehead, just as a brother would do. Just as my own brother used to before he killed himself.
