Morgan's POV

It's been a few days and I haven't seen Steven in that time. I honestly couldn't tell you why, we hadn't really spoken.

I have been seeing my shrink, though, and things have been slowly getting better. I stopped smoking again, I haven't hooked up with anyone in those few days since the night with Jon.

I have been hanging out with Corey again, Just spending the day out with him doing random crap, eating at different places around the city and just generally enjoying each other's company.

I climb into his car this morning and ask what the plan is and he tells me that we are gonna go on a road trip.

"Cor, I don't have anything else to wear and I don't have my meds or-" He cuts me off by pressing his lips to mine for a short moment.

"Okay, then we'll go get your stuff and then we'll go, okay?" He says, pulling away for a minute.

"Sounds good," I say, kissing his cheek and getting out of the car, him following me.

I hold up my UChicago duffle bag, wordlessy asking how long we are gonna be on the road. Cor gives me a thumbs up as I start packing.

"Where are we going? I need to know what to pack, dummy." I tell him, turning to face him.

"We're just gonna drive around, maybe hit up Montreal? I don't really have a plan, I just want to drive around with you." He says, blushing a light pink and looking away.

"That sounds great. How long are we gonna be on the road?" I ask, pulling out a few shirts and such.

"Probably around two weeks, if that's okay. We aren't going directly to Montreal, though. We have to drive through Detroit and Toronto, so I was thinking we could make stops and just adventure around the cities and stay there overnight and stuff." He tells me.

"That's great. Do I need to pack fancy?" I ask turning my head to face him again.

"I'd say bring a few fancy-ish tops, your jeans would do in the case that we actually end up going out to a restaurant or whatever. If you want, toss in some heels but I'm not forcing ya." He rambles, chuckling.

"Sounds good. Now plug my phone into my speaker and hit shuffle, you know the password." I tell him, tossing my phone to him. He catches it and the first song that comes on is Rumors by Jake Miller.

I start packing and dancing around the room, grabbing different clothes from different places.

I decide that I want to pack the shirt I'm wearing right now, a black and white striped crop top, so I tug it over my head and pull on a maroon Fall Out Boy tank top, which works well with the distressed black shorts and the maroon on black Vans, made when I painted the white sole black.

The song changes and it becomes Black Magic by Little Mix, a song I didn't really think I'd like but I really do.

Once I have my clothes in, I toss in my makeup, hair stuff, straightener and curling wand. I also put in some "hygine" stuff, like toothbrush, shaving razor, deodorant and things along those lines. I put in a small bottle of Paris Nights by Bath and Body Works in as well.

I also tuck in a few other pairs of Vans, my combat boots, black flats and a pair of black heels. I put my electronic stuff, like my laptop, chargers and headphones into a backpack that I 'borrowed' from Pat.

The song changes to Worth It by Fifth Harmony, another song I didn't think I'd like. I start dancing around the room, singing along.

I hear Corey laughing from my bed.

"What are you laughing at?" I ask him, sitting down in front of him, laughing a little.

"You're just so adorable." He says, pulling me closer to him.

"That's all you, Crow." I tell him, placing my hand on his cheek.

"Nah, it's all you." He says, placing a hand on my lower back.

I tilt my head up and press my lips to his for a short minute before pulling away. I grab his hand and sling my duffle over my shoulder and write a note to my roommates and leave it on the counter before walking out and heading to his apartment so he could pack some clothes.

I sit on his bed and play on my phone, or I was until he told me to put some music on.

The first song that comes on is Jet Pack Blues by Fall Out Boy and I can't help but sing along.

Corey finishes packing his bag almost as soon as the song is over and we decide to hit the road, as it is only 3pm and we won't hit much traffic until we get into Michigan, or so Corey predicts.

We are driving for a bit and once we hit an open stretch of highway, Corey puts his hand on my knee.

"I wanted to ask you something, if that's okay." Corey pipes up, giving my leg a small squeeze.

"Of course, Cor. What's on your mind?" I ask him, grabbing his hand with my own.

"I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend." He asks me, almost afraid I'd say no.

"I would like that a lot." I tell him, smiling and squeezing his hand.

"Are you hungry, babe?" He asks, pulling off the highway.

"I could go for anything right now." I answer.

He pulls up to a Burger King and parks. We get out of the car and I grab his hand as we walk in. He orders for us as I get us a seat.

He comes back with our food a few minutes later and we eat, feeding each other fries and all that.

I think Corey may be the one that helps me realize that I'm worth it, as vain as that sounds.

He makes me so happy, something I haven't been in years.

I'm so okay with this.
