Morgan's POV
Today's the day.
I'm finally going out with Corey, like we are going to the Navy Pier.
I decide on wearing my grey Our Last Night "Oak Island" tee shirt with black shorts and black Vans.
I leave my hair as is because it's rocking second day curls.
I decide to make my face look somewhat presentable.
I apply some concealer to my undereyes, covering the dark circles from my many sleepless nights.
I apply some bronzer and a touch of blush, just to give my pale skin some life.
I sweep a matte white shadow across my eyelids and put a soft plum-brown shade into my crease, that being matte as well. I curl my lashes and apply a thin coat of brown mascara. I, then, draw a thin line of black liquid eyeliner across my lashline, not winging it out. I apply a few more coats of black mascara then line my tightline and my waterline with a waterproof black pencil eyeliner.
I fill in my eyebrows and make sure they look good before applying a matte plum lip cream to my lips.
I head to the living room to make sure I get the seal of approval from Pat and Jonny, who are basically my older brothers, only being older than me by 4 years.
Pat tells me that I look good but tosses me a red and black flannel.
Jon was a different story.
He tells me that I look good but completely disagrees with my choice of lip color. He thinks that it is a little too dark for me.
Pat slaps his arm and tells me that I should ignore him but I decide that he is right and go back down the hall and into my room. I wipe the color off and replace it with a soft mauve color. I also clip on my key necklace.
He approves of this one and we are square about everything.
Corey calls and asks when he should come get me. It's 4:30pm so we agree on 5:30pm being a good time so we could get dinner, walk around and then hit the pier.
I can simply say that was the longest hour of my life.
Corey arrived and knocked on the door.
I open the door and invite him in, which he accepts.
"Hey Crow!" I hear Pat say, getting closer.
"Hey Kaner." Corey answers.
Pat and Jonny borrow him and just give him the regular "older brother speech", just telling him to like not pull anything and stuff like that.
After that was over, we headed down to the pier and found something to eat. We decided to go to Pinstripes, somewhere I do not think I had even been before.
We sat down and just talked over dinner, the conversation always drifting to laughter between the two of us.
I rested my hand on the table and Corey placed his over mine. I smiled up at him.
We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
We got the check and, again to my dismay, he paid.
By the time we left, it was sundown.
I grabbed his hand and we kinda ran down to the ferris wheel, having already brought the tickets before we headed to Pinstripes. We got the You-Ride-2 Value ticket, one for each of us.
The line moved very quickly and we jumped on.
We were sitting together, hands still laced together, my head resting comfortably on his shoulder.
I stand up, trying to get a picture of the view, when we were at the top.
I got the picture and went to sit down.
But Corey stood up and met me in the middle, wrapping his arms around my waist.
I wrap mine around his neck as he leans down.
I stand on my toes and meet him halfway.
Our lips connected and it was perfect.
We eventually pulled back and laced our fingers back together.
We got off and headed down to the carousel.
We both got onto the "jumping" horses, so he was behind me.
After that was over, we headed back to his car. He started the car and offered me the AUX cord, which I took with no contest.
I started playing Our Last Night, which he seemed to enjoy.
He had his hand resting on my knee the whole drive back, as I was sitting cross-legged.
He walks me to the door, taking it slow.
"I had a great time tonight. I forgot to tell you, you look absolutely beautiful." He says, looking down at our hands.
"I had an amazing time too, you don't look too bad yourself." I say, tilting his chin up with my free hand.
I connect our lips for a short second, before Pat opens the door.
"Alright lovebirds, I hate to cut it short but you said you wouldn't keep her out too late." Pat says, pointing to Corey.
I blush a deep red and cover my face with the sleeves of my flannel.
"Goodnight, Mo. I'll see you tomorrow?" Corey says, pressing his lips to my cheek.
"Of course, goodnight Corey." I answer.
He begins walking away, allowing our hands to unravel and eventually dropping to our sides.
I make my way inside, filling in a waiting Lex on our date.
"You seem really happy around Corey. Keep him around." She tells me, grabbing my shoulder.
"I'll try." I tell her.
