Life For Granted

It's as beautiful as the sky

Like the ocean

Like the trees

Like life for all

And all humanity

The Grand Canyon isn't something we see everyday

So we think it's so incredible

And it is

We look at the sky everyday

And it is beautiful

But we take for granted it's beauty

We take for granted the ocean

The trees and nature

The oxygen they give

We take for granted the life we live

And the love we have

But how amazing is all of that

It's so incredible

But we don't even see that

Then we see something new

Like the Grand Canyon

Or a giant waterfall

And we wish we could see something

That beautiful all of the time

We don't realize that everyday

We have beautiful things

That we completely miss

We take for granted our parents kiss

The trees and the life they give

And all of the lives we live

We take it for granted

So tonight

Look at the sky

And say thank you Lord

For life

For love

For trees

For sky

Because that is the beauty

We will always have
