itzy's chaeryeong and stray kids' koda open up about their past relationship!

on june 9 , itzy's lee chaeryeong was hosting a vlive in a hallway in jyp entertainment outside one of the training rooms. chaeryeong said she had gone live because she was waiting for band mates ryujin and yuna to finish their practice and had gotten bored.
it was only ten minutes into the live when a group of boys walked past and stray kids' watanabe koda joined chaeryeong in her live. the two are known to be best friends and hang out a lot outside of being an idol.
commenters were shipping chaeryeong and koda romantically, and the two idols tried to laugh it off and ignore the questions but it was obvious to both stays and midzys that they were becoming annoyed and uncomfortable until koda finally got up to leave and told the viewers :
" shipping us is making us very uncomfortable as chaeryeong and i used to date pre debut. we broke up mutually , but it doesn't mean that when all i can see when we're trying to do a live as friends is shipping comments won't make me – both of us – uncomfortable. please stop , there's no need to do that "
koda then left and chaeryeong ended the live. koda then went on bubble that same night, apologizing for his outburst and having yelled, saying that he also apologised to chaeryeong for yelling and exposing their past relationship without asking her or without any warning.
