Finney found himself still awake tossing and turning in his bed, for some reason he couldn't sleep.. when he closed his eyes all he could see was the mistake he made earlier on the groupchat.. and he imagined what all his friends reactions were like.. thats if he can call them friends still..

He was quite lucky to not have a homophobic father, sure he might be an alcoholic and abusive and seem like he hates the gays.. but really Finney's never seen him ever bring up that topic so Finney doesn't really know if he's homophobic or trying his best to ignore it thinking its just a phase.

That's what Finney hopes this whole situation would end up like, just a phase.. he wasn't really gay, no way. There's no way he could be gay and inlove with someone that used to be his enemy.

Finney slaps himself out of it, eyes shutting tightly as if they will throw all the thoughts about that out of his brain. He rolls over again, facing what he thinks is his bedroom door.

He closes his eyes again with luck, hoping he'd fall asleep and forget all of this in the morning.

They open straight away again, he groans sitting himself up and out of the bed. Finney walks out of his room, down the hallway and into the bathroom quietly closing the door.

Finney brings the water to his face, shivering at it as he wipes over his eyes.

Finney leaves the bathroom, heading back into his own room again. He lays on the bed grabbing his TV remote from the bed drawers besides him, he puts on netflix sitting back against the pillows pulling the covers up to his chin.

He was in comfortable clothes, in a comfortable warm bed, a good show playing on his TV at low volume so his father won't hear when he gets up for work in the early hours, and in a nice comfortable position, he starts to slip into a short sleep.

Finney doesn't sleep that well or that long, he wakes up again when he hears his father stomping down the hallway, he rolls his eyes turning around hoping to block out the sound of his father running around downstairs.

Eventually he falls back asleep.

{9:13AM}

Finney and Gwen were downstairs in the kitchen sitting at the table eating their breakfast, It was silent as the two just ate staring at different things or doing stuff to distract themselves.

Finney was still half tired from the off and on sleep he had that morning leading to him almost falling asleep while chewing on his cereal if it wasn't for the constant kicks on his shin from Gwen.

Finney looked up at her, She was looking at him expectantly, "What?" Her eyebrows shot up obviously not expecting that. "Have you talked to Bruce?" Finney shrugged looking back down at his cereal, scooping some more up.

"Is that a 'no' or a 'not yet'?" Finney shrugs again making Gwen groan, she picks herself up heading towards the counter. "There's a party happening tonight. For Robin." Finney paused, taking a few seconds to swallow.

"For Robin?" Finney watched as Gwen's face fell, "Yeah, you did say 'happy birthday' to him right?" Finney squinted, lost. He was glad he was too busy trying to remember what is happening that he couldn't see Gwen's face shift to sad.
