Susan tries to make the ride enjoyable for the two teens. She even goes as far as letting Billy control the radio. He's more than happy to drown out the sound of her voice with the loud music, ignoring any and all of her comments and questions. Willow sits contently in the back, looking out the window, watching the houses and trees go by.

"So, where are we going?" She asks, leaning forward in her seat a bit so Susan can hear her. It doesn't really matter much. She has no idea what stores and boutiques are around.

"I was thinking we could go to that big new mall that just opened." Susan happily tells her. She's been wanting to take Max, but she isn't the biggest fan of mother-daughter time going shopping.

"Oh, cool." She replies as she sits back, looking out the window again.

Billy huffs out a sigh. How could he let his sister get him to come along for a trip to the mall on a Saturday? The only good part about this trip will be all of the girls he can flirt with, if he can get away from Susan.

After a short drive, they arrive at the Starcourt Mall. The place is busy, packed with mostly teens hanging out. Susan finds a parking space, a little far from the doors. It's a nice enough day for a short walk to get in.

As they walk in, Billy's eyes instantly scan around for a potential date. Willow looks around at all of the stores she can see, trying to find one that appeals to her. Susan almost immediately drags the girl to DEB, going to find her something in a brighter color.

Willow grabs onto Billy's hand, pulling him along. If she has to go into that store, so does he.

"Oh, come on! I'm not going in there!" He shouts as he's unwillingly forced into the shop with his sister. His attitude changes when he sees some girls in the back having a fashion show of their new outfits.

"How about this one?" Susan asks, showing Willow a brightly colored dress with little flowers on the skirt.

"Ew, no thanks." She refuses the hideous dress.

Susan is quick to move behind her, checking the tag of the dress she's currently wearing.

"What are you -" Willow questions, but she's already off picking out outfits for her to try on.

"Billy, help me!"

"Sorry. There's nothing I can do." He laughs at her.

Just as quickly as she disappeared into the clothes racks, Susan is back with an arm full of outfits and dresses.

"Let's go have you try these on, hmm?"

"I really don't - " She can't even finish her sentence before she's pushed to the changing rooms in the back.

Billy follows at a distance, not really allowed in the back where the girls are getting undressed. He hangs out just close enough to see the clothes Willow is being forced to try on, though.

In her eyes, they're all absolutely horrendous. Brightly colored polka-dotted, floral, and striped pieces of clothing litter the changing room floor.

"Come on out. Let's see." Susan presses, wanting to see her in something bright and happy.

Willow steps out several times in the ugly dresses. Her hair and makeup make them look even worse and out of place on her. Some of them are short sleeved, so she makes sure to keep her distance and hide her scars.

"You look so pretty. Billy, doesn't she look pretty?" Susan asks.

Billy tries his hardest not to laugh. She looks ridiculous. "Yup. So petty."
