In 285 AC, Queen Cersei Lannister gives birth to a sickly boy with brown of hair and blue of eyes, unlike his older brother (who was three years his senior) Prince Joffrey, whom had gold of hair and green of eyes. Conceived during a drunken night, he is named Steffon after King Robert Baratheon's father, who died in a shipwreck.

Queen Cersei did not like the babe boy which came out of her womb mere seconds ago, no, not one bit. On her beautiful face displayed a grimace, the incessant chewing of her rosy red lips, and the involuntary twitch of her glaring eyes.
The maidservants were overjoyed to have been given the honor to assist the Queen's labor of her second son, but they could not come to a final explanation as to why Cersei did not look as merry as she did with her first labor of her oldest son Joffrey.
Until the babe boy in her hands coughed, and Cersei sighed and put him down. "Fetch for me when it's stiffened," She said with no remorse in her voice at all. In her white frock dampened with dark red blood.
Cersei strode out of her chambers. Her twin brother, Ser Jaime Lannister of the Kingsguard, watches her leaving right after her hours long of screaming and agonizing labor, before following after her.
As they watched their Queen leave as if it was just another day of hers, suddenly robust, the maidservants hesitated to say anything to each other until the oldest of them, a woman who has had ten hale children and a barrel for a body, picked the coughing babe up and cooed him against her soft bosoms.
"There, there, young prince. Live another day and prove your mother wrong." She whispered.
And so the sickly boy did survive his years in the cradle.

At the age of three, the babe became a young boy who no longer coughed or wheezed named Steffon, after his grandfather, the former Lord of Storm's End.
His mother Queen Cersei gave birth to a daughter she named Myrcella. Unlike Steffon and like Joffrey, Cersei doted on her newborn daughter who had golden hair and green of eyes.
The young Steffon was enlightened to hear the news. He always wanted another sibling to play with. Joffrey was a horrible playmate, breaking the toys most of the time and taunting his little brother.
Steffon often visited his younger sister. A sweet and innocent babe who did not wail. He would sing lullabies to soothe her whenever she did.
However, Cersei did not like Robert's spawn lingering around Myrcella.
"Shoo!" Cersei hissed at her black-haired son. Steffon was peering over Myrcella's cradle, gently brushing his tiny fingers down baby Myrcella's puffed cheeks which was reddening. Cersei pushed the boy off the cradle.
"I said get off!" Cersei grasped on the boy's shaggy black hair and pulled him away from the cradle. With a loud thud, the boy fell to the ground.
"Your Grace!" Steffon's wet nurse was horrified at what the Queen had done. She hurried to the young Prince's side and gently picked him up. Steffon broke out into a tearful wail.
Ser Jaime heard the commotion from the door. He decided to come in and see what has happened. His lips flattened in dismay when he saw his nephew's uncontrollable fit and his twin sister looked upset.
