Harrenhal.

Harrenhal was once a vast castle that was said to be the largest in the entire Seven Kingdoms. It was built by Harren the Black, the last king of the ironborn's kingdom of the rivers and the isle, and the only Ironborn king to control the entirety of the Seven Kingdoms.

It was later destroyed by Aegon the Conqueror's dragon, Balerion, during the Targaryen's conquest of Westeros. It now lies in ruin and is overgrown with foliage, as a constant reminder of Aegon's triumph over the ironborn.

The second prince of Houses Baratheon and Lannister with black of hair and blue of eyes stood in front of Harrenhal. He could see his old wet nurse's tales about the cursed castle come back to life, of how Balerion took a nosedive from the pitch dark of night and burned House Hoare to ashes.

His king father hated the Targaryens with a burning passion. The Targaryen Prince stole Lyanna Stark away, his father's former betrothed, and killed her. Lyanna Stark, a blue winter rose, was the one of the two causes of the Rebellion and the removal of House Targaryen from the Iron Throne, the other reason being Aerys the Mad King's tyranny.

House Targaryen was at the epitome of greatness three hundred years ago, when they still had their dragons. The Targaryens were Valyrians, of silver of hair and purple of eyes, possessing godlike beauties and godlike powers because of dragons. The Dance of the Dragons was their own undoing, as it was believed that there could never kill a dragon but its own kind.

There are still two known people left of the House of The Dragon: Daenerys and Viserys Targaryen and they roam the Free Cities of Essos as both exiles and fugitives.

Steffon's great-grandmother was a Targaryen princess named Rhaelle Targaryen. Thus, through Rhaelle, Robert Baratheon descended from King Aegon V Targaryen and thus had a blood claim to the Iron Throne, which the maesters used to justify the outcome of Robert's Rebellion.

As a child, Steffon adored his Targaryen ancestry and used it in his limitless imagination of storytelling and daydreaming. He fantasized about having a dragon as large as Balerion in which he could carry the entire Red Keep on its back and he would travel all around the known world with his whole family, most especially Myrcella.

Steffon smiled and took out the golden marigold he brought with his person all the way from Casterly Rock.

He would see her again soon, very soon.

Vylarr, the captain of the guards of House Lannister, had accompanied Steffon and Tyrion in travelling towards the Trident on horseback with a small number of men-at-arms. They had been travelling light and quick so they would be able to arrive a few days earlier to camp near Harrenhal, having been wanting to see the cursed castle for themselves ever since they were but sweet summer children.

A sennight ago, King Robert had sent for a raven to Lord Tywin that Jon Arryn was dead and that 'he wanted his son back' (in his own words). Another word was also delivered and that Steffon should wait for his king father and his royal retinue on the Kingsroad, east of Harrenhal, and once Steffon joins his father's travelling party, they would be well on their way to Winterfell to name Lord Stark as the new Hand of The King.

A powerful offense to the Warden of The West indeed, and the Old Lion did not care, not one bit at all, to see Robert's second son out of the Rock.

The Lannister man-at-arms who Vylarr had sent off yesterday, towards south of the Kings guard to gather knowledge of the King's retinue's coming, had returned. He said he bore great news and he caught sight of the royal retinue a few miles south.
