Good. God. Stop. Stop completely removing all of Circus Baby's agency. She's not a damsel in distress. She is NOT completely useless, she's seven feet tall and five hundred pounds for god's sake. I've seen so many stories where Circus Baby is this really innocent UWU baby bean who can do nothing wroooong! And for some reason Funtime Freddy's an asshole. Actually, I think I hate the stories where Circus Baby's an asshole more. Is she somewhat controlling? Yeah. Would I even go so far to say she might be manipulative? Maybe, she's certainly capable of it as seen in game. But is she a dick? NO. Yes, she will get sad, yes, she will be somewhat rude to the other Funtimes only out of what she thinks is necessity, but you shouldn't lean too far to one side.
Headcanon:
I always saw Funtime Freddy and Circus Baby's relationship as them finding comfort in each other after enduring the things they do in the facility. The technicians and humans and children don't see them as alive, so they comfort each other with the fact that someone, no matter who, does. There's a fanfic that really, really opened my eyes to this ship called On the Shelf by CatCrescent, by the way, it's awesome. Another fanfic, this one not a shipping one but it has some nice moments with the other, is Freddy's Car Crash by Zero-Chan18, their interactions at the end, while definitely not shippy, are very cute. Anyways, Funtime Freddy is more goofy, and Circus Baby is more serious. They balance each other out, maybe even rubbing their respective elements off onto one another, Circus Baby learning to loosen up a little and Freddy finding himself getting more serious in more dire situations.
I like a lot of the Funtimes' relationships. I see them being a pretty close-knit group, you know? Finding comfort in each other, doing everything they can together, like one big happy family. That's why I always loved the angst that comes with the whole ejection situation. And I'm glad they at least have a chance to reconnect in Pizzeria Simulator, and I'm not on Molten Freddy X Scrap Baby, I'm on Funtime Freddy X Circus Baby, so therefore I'll keep my thoughts on them to that chapter.
