Mental Diary 5

I patiently wait as the firemen slowly leave one by one. Finally, I hear one last footstep, a door creaking, and a slam. Yay! My first step is finished. My owner is probably downstairs somewhere, but luckily, she comes upstairs right now. It's my lucky day! She goes into the living room just as planned. By now, my hunger is enormous.

I slowly push the lid up with my paw and jump out of the toilet. I'm soaking wet, but it doesn't matter because I'm a predator. I dash downstairs like an arrow and walk silently into the kitchen. I spot my cat food, so I happily munch on it. Now where does my owner keep the catnip? Suddenly, I hear footsteps from upstairs. Oh no!

I run into an open drawer and hide under some pots. "Spark!" She yells. She must have heard me! I quickly quiet down and curl up. I hear her walk downstairs. Oh no! She's following my wet trail! As she gets down the stairs, I run into the backyard. Yay, the firemen left the door open! I climb the fence. Where do I go now? Spike!

I walk along the fence slowly until I reach Spike's house. "Spark!" I hear my owner yell. "Just a minute!" I meow in reply, jumping from the fence. "Spike, come out!" I meow loudly. Luckily, Spike is in his dog house. "Hi, whats up?" He barks. "My owners angry at me, so I hide loads of times and then ran here," I explained, meowing quietly so his owner doesn't hear.

Spike gives a laughing bark. "What did you do, and why are you wet?" He barks curiosly. "It's a long story," I meow in reply. "So, how was your day?" I add. "Nothing much," He barks in reply. Suddenly, I hear the bell ring. Oh no, it must be my owner! "Hide in the dog shed," Spike barks nervously. Without hesitation, I run inside with Spike.
