Arjun's POV
I was Lying on Mata's lap.. Nakul and subhadra entered in the Hall..
"Renu immediately wants to meet me mata.. Bhadra is gonna be alone if i leave.. Can i take her with me?" He asked to mata..
Chedi! I felt insecure
"No way kul.. Devi will come back today.. She's not gonna be alone.. I'll keep her company.. You are not gonna take her to chedi.." Mata said.. Like she read my mind
I looked at her.. Her face saddened..
"Please maa, renu wants to meet her too!" Nakul asked
"I'll be careful maa!" Bhadra said.. Mata let out a deep sigh and nodded
"But one condition. Come back before dawn" I saw bhadra looking at me.. I somehow managed to not look into her eyes
POV ends ~
The duo reached chedi.. Karenumati was over the moon seeing subhadra.. She hugged her tightly and welcomed them inside
"What is it? Why did you wanna see me immediately?" Nakul asked her
She smiled sheepishly
"Nothing.. I just wanted to see you.. I know you wouldn't come if i tell you that.. Sooo..!" She said.. He shaked his head with smile and invited her into a side hug..
"I'm gonna give you two some privacy.." Subhadra said with a smile and left the room
"What's going on with her.. She looks sad." Renu asked nakul sensing Subhadra's Change
"It's bhrata arjun.. He hasn't talked to her after that incident.. He's hurting her too much!" Nakul said Sighing
"Can you blame him alone? What she did was wrong.. But... He should talk to her about it.. He should give her a chance to explain herself.." Renu said in deep thoughts
Subhadra went to the garden area.. She saw a unfinished painting... It made her remember of a beautiful day
ꜰʟᴀꜱʜ ʙᴀᴄᴋ ~
It was a sunny day in Indraprastha.. Subhadra was painting a cuckoo who used to come to the garden everyday.. Suddenly her painting brush fell out of her hands feeling someone's touch around her waist.. She was turned to him quickly
"Arya! You scared me! And you would've ruined my painting!" She complained to him who was admiring her... He tucked her hair behind her ear..
"I didn't ruin it.. I would've.. But didn't.." He said with a smile.. She sighed with a smile
"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at the meeting.." She asked
He leaned to her shoulder hugging her around waist..
"I was.. But got distracted!" He said making her glare at him
"Who distracted you?" She asked with a playful smile
"I can't tell, but i can kiss that person.." He said and locked her lips with his before she would say anything
He left her when she pushed him from her..
He made her turn towards the painting.. He picked out a painting brush and made her hold it.. He held her hands and Supported her in painting.. She smiled when he kissed her neck in the middle
He sensed her smile and Kissed her on her shoulder
"Arya! You are distracting me!" She complained turning to him.
"Then we can paint later.. Let me distract You a bit more" he said moving closer to her placing his eyes on her..
She pushed him from her with a blush and turned to the painting expecting him to hug her.. But to her surprise he picked her up and walked inside..
"Arya! Put me down! Don't you have shame?!" She was hiding her face in his chest as every soldiers and maids were watching them..
He sealed his lips with hers to make her shut increasing her blush more..
"Get a room you two!" A voice broke their kiss
It was nakul and kunti.. Kunti smiled slightly seeing them
"Look! He's not putting her down! This is your mother for God's sake!" Nakul took it as a opportunity to tease his brother
"I.. Mata.." Arjun blabbered while subhadra was trying to get down
"Don't be embaraced jun! She's your wife! Don't listen to him" kunti held nakul's ears when he she saw him teasing arjun with weird expressions
Flashback ends ~
"Subhadra?" Karan's voice made her come back to reality
She smiled at him forcefully...
"I heard you and arjun are not in a good place !" He said with a smile..
"What?! No.. We're good" she said and turned to leave.. He caught her hands and pulled her towards him..
"Don't lie to me.. I can make you happier...more than he makes you now.." He said throwing a lustful glare at her.. She glared at him and released herself from him..
"Don't you ever dare to talk to me like that! Don't waste your time stalking.. You are never gonna get me!" She said sternly and left the place
"Let's see sweetheart!" He said looking at her fading figure
